Great Green Cleaning And Maid Service

I think I'm in love with my floors!!! Maria, from Great Green Cleaning, did an EXCELLENT job cleaning my floors, and my condo is a much more comfy space since then. I keep the condo neat and clean, for the most part... but with a one-year-old, as well as a fairly new job, and a hubby who works nights, I feel as though I am on-call, working around the clock (work at the office in the daytime on weekdays, and working on mommy-duty throughout the evenings and weekends)... sometimes, a girl just wants to kick her feet up, breathe, and relax. I sought out a cleaning company that would use products that are safe for myself and my family, and I got much more... I got wonderful customer service from Mary, via telephone (and she called me the very next day after I submitted a request for info, via GGC’s website, at nearly midnight)... I also got wonderful service from Maria, who was very attentive to the service request, which indicated that I wanted special attention paid to the floors because, these days, my one-year-old spends lots of time on the floors. Words cannot describe how wonderful the floors look and feel, and it's great to know that no harmful chemicals were used to achieve that great result. Maria cleaned the kitchen wonderfully, including a hard-to-clean pot that had been sitting there soaking, awaiting a clean... she insisted that she clean it, and clean it she did :) My bedroom, which I hadn't dusted in a while, was dusted nicely, and the bathroom was cleaned very well. Even the baseboards are wonderfully clean! I am very comfortable in my home right now, and I thank God and Great Green Cleaning for this! When I walked through the door after work, after Maria had cleaned and had already been gone for hours, there was a light fresh scent throughout my home, and that was just beautiful! I arranged my appointment with Russell, who was perfectly friendly and efficient on the phone. And, importantly for me, when he did try to sell a recurring cleaning service to me after my Groupon cleaning, DID NOT act pushy or become rude when I declined (only because it's a luxury I can't afford regularly). Glenda was the cleaner who came to my apartment. She was early but asked my permission to come on in and was happy to wait if I preferred. We started early (not a problem) and she was efficient, worked hard, and wasn't put off by my dog OR by working around my clutter. She did what she was hired to do, did it well, no muss no fuss. We did chat, but she wasn't distracted nor did she disturb me when I was occupied. [My last cleaning experience with A DIFFERENT agency was unpleasant (the cleaner was 1/2 hour late, spent 80% of this time on his phone discussing family drama loudly, worked slowly, and was super chatty when not on the phone, complained about his wages to me, etc) so GLENDA was a very pleasant change.] I definitely would recommend this company. more

Kind, Considerate, Understanding and Trustworthy. They do a great job cleaning.... but not only that, but you can trust them in your apartment alone and things won't walk out the door. Where else are you going to find sevice like that? more

I have been very happy with the services I have received from Great Green Cleaning, I started using them about a half a year ago. The cleaners are professional and good at what they do, one of them spent an HOUR cleaning my bathroom (no, I am not a slob, it just needed a good all-over clean). The are nice but not too nosy. If anyone ever finished earlier than the allotted time I had paid for, they asked me what other things might need to be worked on to fill the time. A representative always got back to me each time after the cleaning to ask me how things went, which was great. I schedule my cleanings according to when I need them, which is about bi monthly and I never feel like they are pressuring me to use their services more. I recommend them. Yes, it may seem like $40/hr is up there, but we live in NYC, that's a fair rate! more

I had a requirement for the heavy duty cleaning of a relative's apartment that had been uncleaned for many years. While my loved one was in the hospital, I wanted to have his apartment thoroughly cleaned so that when he came home it would be a nice place to be. It was a very emotially charged situation for me as I had no idea my relative had been living this way until I had found out 2 weeks prior.\r \r My situation was handled with great care and sensitivity from the beginning by Ross who was my customer care rep. He thoroughly understood what I needed and the difficulty of the sitiation. I knew I had found the right place. I had a walk through of the apartment with the owner, David, who was also wonderful and we discussed all my needs which included literally top to bottom cleaning of the apartment so it could be painted. We needed to push all the furniture into the middle of the room for the painters and clean and remove everything on and in the furniture. I had a rug that I needed help with in removing. David also told me that since they were a green company that they would take any appropriate items that I didn't want away for donation. Fabulous! We discussed price and although it was expensive it was a big job and I felt it was very fair.\r \r I must admit there was a hitch on the morning of the cleaning where the cleaners they sent were unaware of the size of the job, item removal, etc. I called the office upset (I mentioned this was a very upsetting issue for me) and expressed my dismay. Well, Great Green stepped up to the plate and came through with everything promised and quickly. They sent over Chris, who is a Field Manager on difficult cases who brought everything needed and later they sent over the truck to pick up the items to be donated.\r \r So now I had Chris, Naomi and Oniel on the case. I have to tell you, they were all wonderful and did EVERYTHING I needed with enthusiasm and care. They couldn't have been more wonderful.\r \r By the end of the day, I had everything I needed done on this tough job and I was ecstatic. I gave everyone big tips and was thrilled to do so; they earned every penny.\r \r To top it all off, Ross called afterwards to check on me and to see if I was happy. They had actually spent more man hours on the job than the estimate and they didn't charge me for it which was incredibly nice because believe me these people worked their butts off.\r \r Thank you my friends at Great Green Cleaning. I have a small 2 bedroom apartment, with kids, cats and clutter --Great Green Cleaning organized, sorted, filed, scrubbed and cleaned. My bedroom was left immaculate. I had originally called on Friday night and they still sent someone right over. It worked for me perfectly. more

Awesome service!!! I have a small place in brooklyn 2 bed 1bath kitchen/living room combined not really big... i mean we are talking about Brooklyn apt's here. The office staff was great and every time I called they had some one live on the phone who knew everything I spoke about with the last person. The maid came and cleaned for 4 hours and did an amazing job. She moved and cleaned under everything (most people miss the little things) the maid payed amazing attention to details and just really left me feeling free of the clutter. I recommend these guys 5 starts *****!!!!!! more

What can I say...I can't believe how great of a job they did. The woman who cleaned was on time, nice, and very thorough. We're not messy people, but having Great Green come in and do a proper cleaning makes a world of difference. I totally recommend a good cleaning from Great Green, it's like making things new again. :) more

Great Customer Service/Cleaning! At first, I was apprehensive about hiring a maid. But, ten minutes after she arrived, my worries were put to rest. Annette was a joy and removed stains from the tile that I thought were permanent. Because we have animals, it was very important that no harsh chemicals were used; because Great Green Cleaning only uses earth-friendly products, we are a perfect fit! The customer service was nice. I am ready to schedule my next cleaning and will be asking Zac to sign me up for monthly service!!! more

Last week I had an excellent cleaning by Michelle. She was incredibly detailed as well as efficient with her time (she even had time to dust my wood blinds!). Relative to the expense, I felt like I got a lot of value for the 6 hours of cleaning time. I would recommend GGC without hesitation. more

I just used Great Green Cleaning, with Loura, she was absolutely AMAZING!! I live in a condo in Brooklyn and we are a bit messy. Although I am not number one at giving directions she was able to go ABOVE and BEYOND what I asked. We also have a cat and a dog and when she left there was no animal hair anywhere. I was very impressed with their customer service when I hit a roadbump in my experience. One outlet in my apartment has very high voltage; I didn't sufficiently warn the cleaner, and she took the guard plug out without asking. My (ridiculously expensive, why?) vacuum started to smoke and turn on and off within a couple of minutes of her using it on that plug. It was fried and dead. I was home at the time and quickly figured out what was wrong. We both were distressed. At the end of the session, she explained it on the phone to their phone managers and I did as well. They immediately conveyed to me that it would be taken care of. Their general manager ended up calling the retailer where I bought the vacuum on my behalf and arranging everything to have it replaced. They came to pick up the vacuum from my home and dropped back a brand new vacuum later the same day. I was extremely impressed at how they handled this situation, which could have involved great cost. more

They have a one-stop shop.\r \r My aunt lived in her home for 58 years and now I need to sell it. They not only cleaned, but, also hauled everything away, did a bunch of repairs, painted and cleaned up the yard.\r \r Thank you to Christopher, Raymond, Shavaun, Noemi, Ayesha and Suzanne. What a team! It was a big job.\r \r I live in Los Angeles and could not have done it without them. They did everything we agreed upon and more!\r \r Use them. You'll get your moneys worth. more
