Like most people, I usually cringe at the thought of going to a car dealership...pushy salesmen, hours upon hours of waiting and haggling, etc. Last week I purchased a brand new 2013 Honda Civic from Galpin Honda. I don't usually write online reviews, but after having such a positive, far from typical car buying experience, I decided to write my first one about Galpin Honda. :) I chose this dealership based on the stellar reviews I received from two close friends who have purchased cars from Galpin Honda within the last two years. They referred me to Sunny, who was in Sales at the time but has since moved to the Finance department. I was introduced to Brooklyn and couldn't have asked for a better salesperson! Brooklyn was absolutely amazing...he was friendly, professional and helpful but never pushy! He helped me find a great car that perfectly fits my needs. When it was time to start the finance process, it was Sunny who took over. He explained all of the extra options but never tried to push anything on me. Brooklyn and Sunny made the entire process as quick and hassle free as possible. I will most definitely refer my friends and family to Brooklyn, and my next Honda will be purchased at Galpin! :) more

Everybody here was great. Gilbert J. Helped me get a new civic, and got me a great deal eventhough my credit is less than perfect . Nobody here was pushy like at other dealers I went to. Glen, the guy who delivered the car was very friendly and even though it was nearly 10 pm he explained every I needed to know about my new car. Overall a great experience more

I received the best service here! It had been ten years since I shopped around for a car, but they made the whole process so easy! Christopher Sandoval was my sales consultant. Since I work 12 hour shifts, everything was mostly handled over the phone and email, which made it so convenient for me. He accommodated to my schedule and I came in after work just to sign all the paperwork. I drove out with a 2012 Honda Civic EX coupe with navigation and I love it! Plus, I got a great deal. I didn't put any down payment and my payments are fairly reasonable. The finance manager was also very helpful. He gave me a great deal on the extended warranty and maintenance plan. He wasn't pushy at all. He explained everything thoroughly and suggested the plans that fit my needs. Needless to say, I would highly recommend buying your next car here. You won't be disappointed more

I had procrastinated on purchasing a vehicle because I did not want a car payment and I didn't want to spend my entire day at the dealership buying a car. I arrived at Galpin Honda and was lucky to be greeted by Robert Osorio who was very accommodating. He showed me vehicles, we went for a test drive, he worked on the numbers for me, and in a short period, we were able to come to an agreement. It took a lot longer for my insurance company to send me my proof of insurance! Other than that, I was out of the dealer and in a new car fairly quickly! I loved the positive experience at Galpin and I'm telling everyone I know! more

You always hear people talk about what a negative experience they have when they go to a dealer to buy a car. I went to the dealership in search of my very first new car and the experience was the complete opposite!!! I had the most amazing experience at Galpin Honda and Enrique Beltran helped make the experience a very pleasant one! He was very helpful, extremely knowledgeable and he was able to help me get a brand new 2013 Honda Civic at a very affordable price! I will be sure I recommend Enrique to all my family and friends because he really takes care of people, and he follows up which is a great quality! He made me feel that he genuinely cared about me and wanted to know how I was enjoying my purchase, I wasn't just another customer. Gilbert Jordan was extremely helpful, efficient, informative, professional & friendly from the moment I spoke to him over the phone to the closing of the deal. \r \r Fay Aminian, the Finance Manager, was also very helpful in explaining my contract to me and answering any questions my husband and I had. \r \r I especially like that there was an associate who showed me how to use all the fun gadgets inside of the vehicle and also took the time to program my phone into the car. Overall, everyone I dealt with was very friendly and helpful in my experience. more

Fun experience and good folks. This is the second car in three years that I've gotten from Galpin. I got a 2010 Civic a few years ago and when I recently looking for ways to save money this year, I called Galpin to see if there were any deals on vehicles. I really wanted a CR-Z but prices are pretty static and even with promotions the price was more than I pay for my Civic (which is expected, it's a more expensive vehicle, this isn't anyone's fault). So, I went with a fancy new 2012 Civic and leased instead of buying. I dig the car (200 miles on half a tank!? Go gas-sippers) so far. Anyway, I worked with Chris Sandoval from the Internet Dept. Power user pro tip - ALWAYS work with the Internet dept at a car dealer, they're much nicer and easier to deal with. Chris was very helpful, tried to get me to go on a test drive in the CR-Z but I'd already decided on the Civic due to price. It was thoughtful that he still wanted me to try it out. We took the Civic around and I immediately liked how it drove better than my current one so I was ready to get out of there. Chris worked with me on price and gave me a good deal on my trade-in. I was under-water a bit but nothing so severe that it ruined my decision to drive off in a new whip. I was in and out in just a couple of hours (new record) and I was extremely pleased with the people that helped me. I highly recommend checking them out and asking for Chris to work with you to find a car that won't bust your budget and gives you what you need. With all the new tech in the cars, you're already getting a deal, the rest is just icing on the cake. more

The dealership was spacious, clean, and comfortable. All of the salespeople who approached us were helpful and friendly, without feeling pushy or aggressive. \r \r We ended up working with Mike Fogelman, who is a truly outstanding salesman. His care and attentiveness made buying our new Accord a real pleasure. I'm from a Ford family, and have bought Fords my whole life. Great experience. Michael Fogelman worked with me to get the best price (our first point of contact was the phone), returned all my phone calls, and went the extra mile to get the answers to the questions I had. Was also an easy going and relaxed experience! I was not the quickest sale the dealer would have had, but Michael was patient.\r \r I also did some research and came to this dealer because there were some accessories (factory body kit) I wanted installed on my car and Galpin had experience doing them (and the work was on display as proof). All the other dealerships near me I am sure would have been doing them for their first time and I was going to be the test subject for the install. more

I can't say it enough times, but just the mere idea of buying a car makes me anxious. Having said that, I walked into Galpin Honda looking to buy a civic and all I can say is that from ther moment I walked in it was not at all like I imagined...it was AMAZING! A very sweet salesperson, Michael Fogelman, introduced himself to me and let me know if there was anything I needed, any questions at all, he would be more than happy to help me out. He didn't hover around like a vulture, which made me feel at ease and when the time came that I wanted info on the civic (which i found to be at a great price and really nice looking) he answered any little neurotic question I had and told me about all the awesome features. I really have to say, Michael Fogelman IS the guy to see! He's nice, not pushy and beyond informative about all cars. Thank you again Michael for a great experience!! I hate going to car dealerships, especially because i feel they think because I'm a girl they can take advantage. the best decision i ever done for car shopping, i called galpin honda just looking for a particular used honda accord they had this vehicle on the lot, asked a few questions about this car before i drove to galpin honda since i live about 1 1/2 hour away wanted to make sure this was my right decision, we get to the dealer and my salesman gilbert jordan showed me and my family this 2010 accord drove the car loved it but when we get inside the dealer gilbert showed us a better way how to save more money and that was by offering us a couple options between a used and new car was, gilbert had a lot of patience on explaining the options to us, we ended up getting a new 2012 honda accord, the main reason we bought this car about 1 year ago its because of this great salesman gilbert jordan hes truly a professional and has alot of product knowledge when it comes to any question hes got the right answer and not confusing the customer, as u can see how happy my family is this the reason im writing this helpfull review. thank you one more time gilbert more

I bought my new Honda from Galpin from Armen Bandari. I have to say that the service was incrediblely professional and well taken care of. The sales agent (Armen) was with us the whole time making sure the process was smooth and really took care of us. I am a 21year old full time student who also happens to work a full-time job. I live in the Long Beach area and was referred to Galpin Honda by a family friend. I was so anxious to get a car that I didn’t even care about how it would be in the long run. I was at a small car dealership by my home, found a 2002 Subaru Impreza. I fell in love; amount I was going to pay was around 10g’s. After I test drove the car I was the most unhappy person in the world. It had noises and smells that I wouldn’t think a car that looked that good could have. I was as close to signing the agreement when my boyfriend gave me another option, Galpin. I went in mad and annoyed questioning why we were even in the Galpin Honda dealer. I felt it was far from what I was looking for and could afford (Remember I am a full time student who doesn’t receive any type of financial aid). The process was fast, Jimmy my sales rep filtered my needs and wants with the reality of it and made it work. Originally I had my mind set on having a co-signer again; I am a first time buyer with beginning credit. As we spoke more about the deal he let me know that I had the option to not have a co – signer and have everything under my own name. That was a breath of relieve; now I wouldn’t have to worry about someone always thinking I would screw them over. I went in with a set monthly that I could afford to pay and with my situation Jimmy worked with it. His integrity, honesty and help came to me as a blessing. Jimmy and Galpin took care of me and my guests offering us from coffee to a sandwich. Jimmy made my first experience as pleasant as it could possibly be. I now have the opportunity to begin my life build my credit and have an amazing car to drive. if your looking for a new honda at a great price Enrique Beltran is the man to see. never once did i feel i was bargaining with a salesman rather i felt i was speaking to a friend which is hard to come by . Enrique answered ALL my questions and made me feel extremely comfortable. I love my new crosstour and recommend Enrique to anyone and everyone every chance i get.
