I am a 21year old full time student who also happens to work a full-time job. I live in the Long Beach area and was referred to Galpin Honda by a family friend. I was so anxious to get a car that I didn’t even care about how it would be in the long run. I was at a small car dealership by my home, found a 2002 Subaru Impreza. I fell in love; amount I was going to pay was around 10g’s. After I test drove the car I was the most unhappy person in the world. It had noises and smells that I wouldn’t think a car that looked that good could have. I was as close to signing the agreement when my boyfriend gave me another option, Galpin. I went in mad and annoyed questioning why we were even in the Galpin Honda dealer. I felt it was far from what I was looking for and could afford (Remember I am a full time student who doesn’t receive any type of financial aid). The process was fast, Jimmy my sales rep filtered my needs and wants with the reality of it and made it work. Originally I had my mind set on having a co-signer again; I am a first time buyer with beginning credit. As we spoke more about the deal he let me know that I had the option to not have a co – signer and have everything under my own name. That was a breath of relieve; now I wouldn’t have to worry about someone always thinking I would screw them over. I went in with a set monthly that I could afford to pay and with my situation Jimmy worked with it. His integrity, honesty and help came to me as a blessing. Jimmy and Galpin took care of me and my guests offering us from coffee to a sandwich. Jimmy made my first experience as pleasant as it could possibly be. I now have the opportunity to begin my life build my credit and have an amazing car to drive. Thank you Galpin Honda for the experience and hospitality, and thank you Jimmy for your amazing customer service.
