We went back and forth with the idea of buying existing or a new build for months. Every existing home we looked at lacked updated features like the kitchen and high ceilings. This definitely pushed us towards deciding to build. Henrietta school district was a secondary reason as well. Anthony was there for us every step of the way, even on his days off he would answer a text or phone call from us with any question we had. When we moved in, he came by personally and welcomed us and told us to let him know if we needed ANYTHING. Typically, when the sale is complete your sales agent is gone as well but Anthony has become a friend of our family. We appreciate everything he has done for us . I have to say our experience with building went very smooth. My husband and I have been living in Berkshire Park for exactly one year and are happy with both the house and the neighborhood. Our corner lot is subjected to a lot of wind and we have been pleased that the shingles have held tightly to the roof and the siding has never buckled or blown off. Rhett was easy to work with and was always polite, responsive and professional. We were especially pleased with the personnel in charge of kitchen and flooring at Claridge. We are looking forward to many years in Berkshire Park. more

Faber Homes was great in helping us pick a floor plan that was conducive to our needs. We told them our budget and they were great in keeping our monthly payments where we wanted to be. Building process was good and if we had any questions on anything, they were there to answer them and address any issues. Our neighborhood is amazing and everyone is quite friendly toward one another. more

Although no moving/building process is flawless we are completely happy with our new home. Don Cariola is an amazing sales representative and was always there to help with all of our questions and concerns. Our neighborhood regency park has given us a lot more than friendship with our neighbors. more

My wife and I were living in a very large and expensive to maintain home. Growing older made us realize the need to lower living expenses if we ever wanted to retire. FABER was the right choice for us. Our son, a first time home owner, had recently built a home with FABER and his positive experience led us to also choose them. We started with a low base price on a ranch style home and added only what we wanted and felt we could afford. We ended up with a nice home at a reasonable price, and being brand new one that was much easier to take care of. Our new home was smaller than our previous one but it was also far less expensive to maintain, insure, repair and pay taxes on. Of course Faber could have built us a much larger home if we wanted but for us our goal was to down size. Mission accomplished with Faber. No new construction is ever problem free and neither was ours but FABER responded to all the concerns we had while going through the construction phase. Even after our home was completed FABER continued to correct any deficiencies, (and there weren’t many), that we felt existed. We continue to refer family, friends and co-workers to build with FABER. If we were to do it all over again we would again choose FABER. more

WOW!I'm shocked to read the negative reviews of Faber. I built a new house couple years ago and I can STILL say I made the right decision. Our sales guy Don to the office staff I have always received back a call or email whenever I had a question or problem. They made it a point to make sure I was happy with my house. Look around at other builders in the area...you can see that they are the overall best option.I was able to get a beautiful home within a tight budget for me and my family. more

Built in 04 everything was horrible nothing but Lies! I am also handicapped and was informed that we signed off for our mail box to be placed not only around the corner but on another street as we live on the corner. Promise the moon and stars and leave you in the cow field. RUN as fast as possible nail pops, creaky floors, cold windows and shower door does not close one wall is not even straight found this when painting. The contract is all loaded on the side of Faber. This is our second build too bad our first retired would have gone with him again he was small and not backed by law firm. Run don't walk even the responses to complaints here are standard format showing an automated response and no personal care. Contacted the BBB after moving in and found out where the mail box was located, as we know we did not sign off on that as walking is difficult some days. Look into rehabbing. more

Promised so many thing even the one year check is a joke and our mail box is around the corner on another street and they state we signed off on this knowing full well I'm handicapped more

The experience of building my first home was definitely not what I expected it to be. The initial visit to Faber was great, I was told I could afford this type of home with as little out of pocket expenses possible. Well that turned out to be false. I was very disappointed with the service received. If I knew then what I know now...I would have NEVER went with a Faber home. more

We couldn't have had a worse experience in purchasing a home - start to finish. And it continues around us with new construction. Faber Homes as a company is so poorly run, it's truly shameful. No one cares what the customer's experience is or how the home turns out and if you are already a home owner ...forget it. It is a process that we have to manage the entire time and it cost more money. What a joke of a company. Please, do yourself a HUGE favor and go to another builder. more

Faber makes you believe that you are buying a quality home, they lie and don't keep you informed about many things about the house, and the poor workmanship. If this is your first home and you have a small budget please find another builder. This builder (lawyer) will always win. more

If you want your house build from an office ... go ahead an choose Faber. You will never deal with an actual contractor or builder only the salesman and he will promise thing will get fix on time and they don't. Also if you take them away of their "volume" production if you want upgrades, you will not be satisfied with the end results, and they are very expensive. They are not worth your time and money. more

I shopped around for a year before I finally stumbled upon Faber Homes. This was my first house, and my budget wasn't that big, but they worked with me. They helped me find a bank, and answered all my questions. :) more

Faber Homes is the worst builder in the Rochester, NY area. Their homes are of poor quality and substandard workmanship. The main reason is that they subcontract all their work, the subs who are subject to threats and lawyer intimidation are too scared to fight back. The homeowner then gets the brunt of this anger from the subcontractor. The homes are full of mold after a few months and Faber will not fix problems with the homes. DO NOT BUY FROM Faber Homes and save yourself the stress and headaches, don't be fooled by the promises; after you close on the deal, you will be on your own. Electrical problems and faulty toilets are the norm, most homeowners don't want to confront the "lawyers" so they grumble to other homeowners. THE WORST BUILDER I HAD THE DISPLEASURE OF DOING BUSINESS WITH. Save your money and buy from Ryan Homes or another builder. I would give a zero rating if it was possible, but the sit will not allow. more

We built our first house with Faber. After researching many builders we found that they offered the best home for your money. They offered great locations for building, good lot size, good price per square foot and solid construction. They use high quality materials and hire high quality subcontractors. The Construction Manager, Don, was by far the best asset Faber offered. Don is a highly experienced professional and was very accessible for questions. The only down side would be that the house was to be completed by End of August and was not completed until October (rain and weather delays kept from digging). You will visit other builders who offer more upgrades in the basic package but don;t be fooled. They are the same one's who you see after a year and the siding is fading and roof is sinking. more
