I personally had a great experience here I am new to Austin and had a lot of issues on my end had to wait a month becuz of bank issues on my end being new to job and state Cory P. Help us the first time but told me to come back in 30 days and the deal with my trade in would still be effective and speaking of trade ins they gave me 1000 dollars to help me out when I thought they would give me nothing. Everybody that works there made me and my wife very comfortable seeing that we were there all day but again no fault if theirs it was a long process becuz my end was a mess and Cory P. was very helpful he even went out of his way to pick me up at my place of residence yo get me in a car and Cory P. Just recently purchased a car from here and all I can say is the salesman was new and that was very refreshing, as he didn't have the air of being pushy and overly knowledgeable.\r He was nice, and listened to what I wanted or needed! This young man was eager to help find and place me in the car I had came to look at! This salesman Dennis W. worked hard to get me what I had asked for and that is rare with most salesmen. They normally do not listen but push you into a vehicle you do not want or really like, for anyone looking to purchase a vehicle and do not want a pushy overly cocky salesman that listens and will work with you I would say check this young man out! After a bit of a rocky start my salesman Scotty Richards and I were able to work out a deal on a car. So far I am happy with the deal except that one of the wheel covers has already gone missing. Scotty is working a replacement option but no resolution on the issue as of yet. Overall, they were able to get me into a car that fits my needs, and as long as Scotty is able to get me some replacement wheel covers, I am happy with the deal and Dream Cars Austin. more

David and Mark were fantastic. From walking us through the steps, rushing the car through their service. They do 120 point plus inspection. Fantastic, and working tirelessly to get us approved, including jumping through hoops to get the bank to accept my husband's job letter as proof of his income. A dealer for the people... I think not! I must say I find it hard to believe all the positive reviews on here. I will say that I was repeat customer for Dreamcars and I had sent them several customers over the last 4 years! I can honestly say that I cant fathom how they could treat someone so bad that was going to drop $18000 in their shop! I dealt with 3 different people that day and 2 of them just plain lied to my face and the third one could have cared less about anything cause it was late and all he wanted to do was go home!!!! They lied about my trade and they lied about financing terms. Then they kept us there for 4 hours on a school night, when I had already been told everything was ready to go just come by and sign the papers and you will be in and out in a hour...the car will be detailed and ready to go! Several times I was ready to just walk out and leave but of course I had no keys!!! I love Scotts comercials but they just aren't true. They tried to screw me and use every trick in the book to get us to sign and drive!!! Buyer beware!!!! more

A DEALER FOR THE PEOPLE??? Where to even start! Unfortunately I have to resort to this review to vent my frustration!!! Looking through all the positive reviews I can not help but wonder if everyone still feels that positive today. This was our second time at Dream Cars and I guess we should have learned from the first time. Almost the same exact thing happened to us this time, only on a much larger scale. With our last purchase they made good on the deal the following day and we just chalked it up to bad communication between the sales guy then and the finance manager...WELL this time the finance guys tried to throw our sales guy right under the bus. Let me just tell you a short version of what happened and what you should be aware of when buying from this place. My husband went in 2 days ago after work to get the ball rolling. I had to join him the following day since I needed to be on the loan as well. My husband TOLD them we would have our two kids and they assured him it should only take more than an hour. After 2hours and 55 minutes on sitting ALONE (we asked for our keys back 2 different times and they would say just a couple of more minutes) we were finally brought into the finance room only to be SHOCKED and APPALLED at what they tried to pull. Not only was the monthly payment $11 more a month they tried to add in 6 extra month to the financing terms. Needless to say it was not a pretty sight. They tried to say our deal was never on the table and said our sales guy backed that up...we asked to speak to our sales guy so he could say that to our face and of coarse he could not... He just wanted to sit us down and go through the whole thing again. No Way, by this time it was 9:00 PM which is already past our kids bed time. See they thought since it was late and with having our kids with us they could pull one over on us. Sorry guys we are that dumb! My advise is to READ the actual paper work...I understand it can be confusing to some, but do not sign what you are not clear on, they are counting on you being so excited about the car that you will just sign. Buyer BEWARE! To Bad Scott Elder and his ""Dealer for the People"" motto comes with fine print like everything else. more

A friend reccomended Dream Cars to me after they were able to help him get into a car even though he had bad credit. Mark was very nice and patient with an older lady who was very confused with all the new gadgets on these new cars. Anyway Mark offerred to let me drive as many cars as I wanted, but after seeing the first one and falling in love with it, I didn't need to drive anymore.
