Recovery 10 years of personal data 1/20/2019

I took it to the computer repair service I used for several years, they tried, but were not able to recover any of the data, they would send the drive to a national firm which was recognized as a reliable company with a price tag of up to $2000.00 I spoke to a friend of mine who recommended Edge Recovery, they were very professional and "up front" about what they could do, including estimates of various levels of recovering the data. I left the drive, they contacted me the following day that they could recover everything for $ 375.00! Which they did within 2 days turn around. They are very professional and I highly recommend Edge Computer Repair in Fort Collins .Nico Zentveld more

Great Service 3/26/2017

Sam and his team did a fabulous job retiring my ancient tower and transferring all the data to my new laptop. And, setting up the laptop as well. Fortunately, they have the patience to deal with this, since I don't! The cost was incredibly reasonable and I would highly recommend their services. more

Unbelievably great. 10/27/2015

After Apple screwed up and wiped my computer clean, I took it to Edge. These guys were extremely friendly and took amazing care of my computer. After facing what looked like a catastrophe they were able to restore all my files and get my computer back to me in a timely manor. They went above and beyond, constantly keeping me in the loop and helping me understand what it was that was going on. I hope I never have another issue with my computer, but if I do I'm going right back there. These guys were phenomenal. more

Best Computer Repair Shop. Period. 6/25/2015

One of our lab computers used to control a lasers experiment decided to display the "blue screen of death". Tried several approaches to fixing/recovering data to no avail, so we decided to take it to Sam at EDGE Computer Repair. Sam communicated consistently through the repair process, keeping us updated on progress and possible outcomes. What initially seemed like a multi-month set-back and several thousand dollars in lost programs turned into Sam completely repairing our computer and having it back to us in two days. Unbelievable. Knowledge and Professionalism 12/31/2013

After working on our home PC for over 6 hours, I figured it was beyond my scope of knowledge. What was initially thought to be a virus, turned out to be an entire hard drive failure which resulted in a replacement. Not only did this take the master technician under a day and a half, he was honest and upfront about what the cost would be and even gave us a few bucks off. Thank you for your hard work, Sam and we will be back soon for some tweaking on our other systems! We also enjoyed meeting Roxanne. She is a cute and loving dog.~ Satisfied customer! Great Service! 1/24/2013

Sam has helped us 4 times with both laptops and CPUs in the past 2 years. We had major problems with pop-up windows, programs closing, and viruses. Sam fixed the problems very quickly and reasonably ($). I don't know a lot about computers, but Sam listens to my complaints,repairs the problems, and got my computers back to me within a day or two. He always explains things in terms I can understand and he returns my phone calls immediately. He is a very nice guy who KNOWS his computers. I highly recommend him if you want the job done right and quickly! more

Excellent Service 1/19/2013

Sam saw the repair through to the end, he charged us a reasonable price for a new video card replacement. But this is where it gets good. I asked him about a nice video card fan I had bought, and he told me he would install it for free even though the card he was installing wouldn't fit it exactly. He spent alot of extra time refitting the video card for that fan, and he did it free of charge. That alone would be enough for five stars. However, it turned out that the video card installed was not compatible with our system, and so he took it back, re-fitted ANOTHER video card for our fan, and then installed the video card. For. Free. So, the moral of the story is come to the Edge Computer Repair. It's simply the best. more

“JOB WELL DONE! FAST! REASONABLE COST!” 7/20/2012

DISREGARD PREVIOUS ENTRY OF 1 STAR (ENTERED IN ERROR), EDGE IS THE BEST! I had a hard drive go down and after reading other reviews, I decided to give Sam/Edge a try. All of my essential docs were recovered in 1 day!! I was completely satisfied and would definitely utilize Edge again! I was quoted up to $2000 by companies in Denver, Edge came through, under $200 and it's local. Can't be beat! more

Great Service 4/10/2012

I brought my HP Pavilion TX2000 to EDGE due to the GPU overheating issue that's all over the internet. I was tempted to try one of the many people on eBay to fix it, but found the EDGE website and I'm glad I did. It took less than 24 hours for Sam to fix it. He did a Re-Ball of the GPU and cleaned out the fan and new thermal paste on the CPU. The laptop is running great now and I'm thankful to the folks at EDGE for their quick service and reasonable price. Charlie H Longmont,CO more

Highly Recommended 3/15/2012

I took my HP laptop in for repair because it was running so poorly. Sam fixed it within the promised 24 hours and charged me no more (and probably less) than what other places had quoted me. He also fixed a minor issue with my daughter's Mac before we had even left his store. I hope I don't need more computer help anytime soon, but if I do, I will go to the Edge befor I go anywhere else! more

Best there is! 1/20/2011

My hard drive was totaled, along with a broken ethernet port, and I took it in to Sam not knowing if it was fixable. He was extremely knowledgeable and had diagnosed the problem within minutes, but the best part was that he took the time to explain and show me exactly what was wrong and what it meant for the computer. His prices were beyond reasonable, and he was just such a pleasure to work with. I'm so unbelievably happy that I went to EDGE, and I wouldn't recommend going anywhere else if you're looking for quality work and fair prices. more

Thanks a Million! 9/8/2010

My computer had pop-up windows all over the place which basically made it useless. I called Edge Computer Repair and talked to Sam and he said I had a virus. I'm unemployed at the moment and not in the best financial shape and couldn't afford to bring it somewhere to get it fixed. I told him this and he spent 20 minutes on the phone with me giving me a list of things to try to fix it myself. I felt like an ass calling back later for more help but he didn't seem to mind. My computer is now back up & running and I just wanted to express how grateful I am for Sam's patience and selfless attitude! Tony S more

"Can Do" Attitude 7/30/2010

Good: I liked the "can do" attitude at Edge Computer. Nothing to do with computers, but I called Sam to see if he had any small, special-threaded screws (actually bolts) I needed to fix my fly reel. I said I had contacted Ace Hardware, several reel repair shops and the manufactured. They couldn't help. Sam said bring it in. I did. In 5 minutes he found all the screws in his inventory and fixed my reel. He charged me nothing. I really appreciate a "can do' attitude.. more

Sam at Edge Computer was extremely helpful, friendly and professional. I took my computer in to him because it was runnign slow, he found more problems than what I was expecting and he was wonderful about calling me each time something came up to explain what was going on and what the process was to fix it. I would recomend him to everyone! more
