wooden blinds r flimsy......not like the ones i had.......not informed re day to put blinds......took a VERY long time to get.............

Custom Shutters 5/17/2011

Danmer Custom Shutters did a great job on my shutters. They were there to help whenever I needed it. Online tracking was nice to see as well. Now that I have my new plantation shutters, I know my next home will have to have Danmer shutters too more

The look isn't quite what we were hoping for. 4/20/2011

The only thing that I wasn't quite 100 thrilled about with my experience with Danmer Custom Shutters was the way in which the shutters had to be configured on the windows. Because of the size of the windows, Jackie recommended that we go with more shutters than less, so instead of large ones to cover a large window, she recommended six smaller, narrower ones. It just looks a little too busy to for me. I wish we could have found a way to go with the the wider panels. We were trying to match the shutters that we had done downstairs so that it looked uniform from the outside. It didn't quite work out that way, so we're just only a little disappointed that it wasn't perfect. more

Great Shutters, Service and Satisfaction! 4/4/2011

Up until Danmer we were hesitant about shutters due to the price and making sure it got done right when installed. Every person we were in contact with was great! Great company and people and the product is top quality and the installation is top notch!!! Looking forward to completing our entire house! more

The installation was much easier than expected. 3/23/2011

Danmer Custom Shutters has actually helped us twice. Last year they installed shutters in about 95 of our windows. There were about 4 windows that we decided we didn't want to have installed at the time. There was a male and female team that came out and spent two days installing the shutters. I was really thrilled with how professional, clean, and knowledgeable they both were in installing the shutters, whether upstairs or down. They did an extremely good job of covering the carpet when they had to lay down the shutters, and they built the majority of the shutters in the driveway. They were thoroughly professional. In January or February of this year we had Danmer Custom Shutters come back out to cover the remaining 4 windows. This time it was a different installers, and he did a good job. There was actually a door downstairs that was sagging due to the weight of the shutters, and he was nice enough to help me fix it. We took off a hinge, put it in a vice, bent it, and solved the problem. He went above and beyond what I expected him to do, and I was thoroughly impressed. The only thing I am concerned about is that the first team took latex caulking and sealed the shutters, but the second installer did not do that. I was a little disappointed that he didn't go 100 and seal all the shutters. I may ask them to come back out and do that. However, other than that minor thing, I was impressed with the professionalism of both sets of installers. more

The blueprinting and installation were great - the salesperson was new so he was the weakest link but I still made the purchase - the whole house now looks beautiful!!! more

Shutters Make the DIFFERENCE! 3/21/2011

I was a skeptic about shutters, but decided to take an initial plunge after doing some research. Observation #1 - THERE is a BIG difference in shutter manufacturers.... think how long does true quality last? Observation #2 - Shutters made a huge difference in my heating and cooling in the area where they were installed. I was a skeptic when my Salesman told me this - now I'm a believer. Observation #3 - People remark about how nice my living room looks now that I have my Danmer Shutters. I'm looking forward to having the rest of the home done this year! more

Overall it was a good experience. 3/1/2011

Damner Custom Shutters did two windows for me, and it was my first time using them. Everything was really good except for the communication when matching the color stain. That was a little confusing, but in the end they matched it really well. Overall it was good. The salesman was new, and he communicated that, so any time he had a question he would call to verify. That was good. The installer was also very good. He came out and did all the measurements, and the installation was good. They worked with us on time. more

Danmer Custom Shutters was really good with phone calls to let me know when they were coming and what they were doing. They were great at coordinating times with me. They did the entire house except for one room, and I am having them come back to do the last room as well. The product is outstanding. I am very happy with the product. Fair price, exceptional service, personable and friendly employees. 1/7/2011

My experience with Danmer Custom Shutters was most exceptional. I had always wanted shutters in my kitchen, so when I saw Danmer Custom Shutters' booth in a fair I talked with them. I had a bad experience with another shutter company, but decided to contract Danmer and have them come out. The lady who came out to my house is an interior designer, and she was fabulous. She was excellent, and it was a wonderful experience. I was so pleased and taken aback with how low the price was that I bought additional shutters for the den. It is so nice to wake up in the morning, walk down the hallway, and see my shutters in the den. Then I can go into the kitchen and enjoy them there as well. There is so much more light in the rooms, and it really is nice. I cannot speak any higher about Danmer's service. The gentleman who came out for the final measurements was so nice, he had premier customer service, and he also come out to do the installation. He was very personable. He did his job. He would have a little conversation if I asked him something, but did his job and did it well. There are other companies out there, and I have had my share of bad experiences, but this company really keeps their word. The prices are fair, and their service is exceptional. If you come with any questions or concerns they will answer them, and they make their customers comfortable. They feel like family. They are personable and friendly with service to back it up. more

Excellent! 11/24/2010

Danmer Custom Shutters was really wonderful. There was no pressure or anything on the sale. They took their time. I was so delighted with the upstairs that I called them back to deal with the same people again and ended up getting additional shutters. I have also referred a friend to them. Their service is excellent. They do what they say, and if anything, they will come early. I appreciate that because I am so used to waiting for people that it is nice to have them come on time or early. They also leave everything so clean and neat. They make it all really easy. I keep saying that the change is like getting new furniture; I can't believe the difference it made. I had mini-blinds before, so it has made an incredible difference. more

Excellent product & service 11/1/2010

Synthia Turville (Rep) provided detailed information and answered our questions well, so we did not hesitate to place an initial order. The shutters are of excellent quality, and Rafael Sanchez (Installer) did an exceptional job installing the shutters. We then placed an additional order for another window, and for a very large sliding glass door and window. Rafael needs to be commended again, as he agreed to do the installation, even though the date was on his scheduled day off, AND his round trip travel was over 200 miles. more
