wooden blinds r flimsy......not like the ones i had.......not informed re day to put blinds......took a VERY long time to get.............

Perfect experience! 10/10/2013

Danmer Custom Shutters came out and looked at what we had. They made some recommendation and their solutions were different from what we had in mind. So we went with their recommendations concerning materials and colors and they gave us really good competitive price. The whole thing was really nice. The sales guy came back during the installation and took pictures from the outside. He was truly excited about it. more

Excellent company experience and truly professional 7/26/2013

Danmer Custom Shutters Los Angeles were the only willing and able company to do some high skylights. Other companies walked away from the job saying that they couldn't do it. Danmer was confident and faster than any company in turn-around time. I would use them again. They are very professional. They have a lot of confidence in what they do. The employees are all willing to help and answer questions. They may be a little bit more, but they're worth. more

I am so impressed with their employees 5/24/2013

I love Shaney of Danmer Customer Shutters. The first time he came to my house I was so impressed that I continually request him from Danmer when I need more shutters. We started designing shutters for different reasons and we went back because we liked them so much. Recently I wanted another one over my kitchen sink and summer was coming and I didn't want my grandson's room hot so he put shutters in two bedrooms as well. We have used them to put a blackout shade in the master bedroom and it all looks great. I would not hesitate to recommend them and I will go back to them in a heartbeat for any future needs. more

Ok not trying to be funny or nothing, but these are the best plantation shutters ever. Danmer Shutters makes their (now ours) shutters in their own factory in California. That is why the quality is so good and the paint matches and everything. If you want the best shutters do what we did and call Danmer but you don’t have to call at 2 am like my husband did because he is kind of a nut. more

They really care about their jobs and bend over backwards to work with us and get the shutters in as fast as possible and build really high quality shutters at their shutter factory not some junky import shutters from China or something. These plantation shutters are the real deal and made to last.\r more

Great shutters for our tough windows and lack of space 4/22/2013

Danmer Custom Shutters Los Angeles didn't mess around. They got it right the first time. We had two windows that were really a challenge but Danmer's really knew how to design our shutters for our windows. We have some very heavy Victorian furniture in our room that are so close to our windows and they were able to work around them. They really solved all our problems for our hold home. In our utility room they also did a great job framing the window on the sides since we had cabinet shelves underneath we didn't want to cut into. They really worked with us to get us what we want. The shutters even seem like they are insulating our house which is great! They curved shutters to really open up our rooms and really enhance the space. Couldn't have been happier! more

No pressure sales, great install. 3/21/2013

We had a great sales rep come out. She didn't pressure us at all, and she was very knowledgeable. She helped show us different options. The gentleman who came out and measured and did the install was very professional and clean. He let us know what was happening through the process. more

BUYER BEWARE ! I WAS RIPPED OFF!\r BUYER BEWARE!!!\r \r Please help my wife and i against these crooks! We have purchased many products while upgrading our home and did not think that the window treatments would be such a NIGHTMARE! We ordered simple white custom shuttersI we ordered the product with a promised delivery time of 2-3 weeks. Now 8 weeks into the order I cant even find an answer from anyone regarding what is going on! The owner came out to the house in his fancy new car and puts on these claims of being a great local company, this is so far from the truth. When we were finally installed 9 weeks total from order date, the paint on the shutters was very poor, and weeks later we can't even get repairs done. \r \r RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY THEY ARE FULL OF FALSE PROMISES. more

Superior product and knowledge. Well worth the money. 1/10/2013

The primary reason I gave Danmer Custom Shutters these ratings was because the installer's product knowledge was way beyond what we expected. Their guy comes out and does an inspection a few days before they put it in. The gentleman who came out to do the installation was the same one who did the inspection. Their product is very good. Everybody that comes over remarks on our shutters. I would recommend them to anybody for anything. more

Completely professional work. Willing to go the extra mile. 12/3/2012

Danmer Custom Shutters added shutters to the inside of my house. Their shutter rep came out first and explained it, showed materials, and explained how they would do them. I had seen some shutters at my sister's earlier and I thought they were great. I felt comfortable going with them. The main rep from the factory called back and set up times. I had some down time because I had to go out of town. They rescheduled everything and fit into my schedule really well. When the technician came and measured for the shutters, I was talking to him and asked about a shutter by the front door that seemed to be really close to the walkway. He said they could set it into the window and gave me options. He put the shutters in in one day, and swept and cleaned up after himself. There was nothing not to recommend about their service. more

I walked into the showroom at Danmer Los Angeles and gave them a photo from my home and garden magazine and they told me they can custom make them in that way. Now all the rooms in my home are shuttered and the kids room is really cute too. more

Everybody's really friendly at Danmer. They were thorough explaining through the salesperson. The guy that did the measurements and the install was very nice, cleaned up, and did a really great job. He explained everything to me. I couldn't even ask for any more. If I had my own company, I hope my employees would work for me like this. more

I?ve purchased from cheap vendors in the past but always had problems with the installation or the shutters breaking, so instead of trying to cut corners, this time I went straight to the pros. Danmer Los Angeles got the job done right and I?m very satisfied. more

Very good experiences. 9/24/2012

This was my third time having them out. We had shutters installed, most recently shutters covering 5 windows. Edgar was the installer on all of them, I put my order in on the condition that I would have Edgar as the installer. He is extremely knowledgeable, and knows how to overcome obstacles, and leaves no mess behind. David was our sales person who was very helpful too. I liked how they are very punctual. more
