Worst Experience I've Ever Had 8/6/2020

I've been in marketing for 17 years and have worked with tons of various vendors over the years. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had! Their customer service is absolutely horrible. I placed an order for lanyards and requested a specific delivery date. I chose the shipping option that showed a delivery date one week before I needed the product just in case. Four days before the date I selected, I received an email stating that it was delayed and wouldn't be ready for another month. I contacted them to cancel the order since I needed them for a specific event and they told me I would have to pay 70% of the original invoice in order to cancel since it was "already in production." They would not work with me AT ALL. We disputed the charge with our credit card company multiple times and they would fight it every time. Long story short, we ended up just continuing with the order because we weren't going to pay almost $2,000 for no product. We also had to change the shipping address since they would no longer be delivered to the event location and they charged us an additional $35 just to change an address. It took just under 6 months to resolve this with their awful customer service team. They also charged us AGAIN when we decided to continue with the order and it took 3 weeks just to get them to submit the refund. I will never work with them again and can't believe how terrible this experience was. Just an FYI, they are the same company as customlanyards.net and 24hourwristbands.com. Beware if you decide to work with them! more

Incompetent 9/9/2019

You would think for a custom lanyard company they would be able to properly make custom lanyards. Think again. Spent several days sending back new artwork files only for them to send me the same exact incorrect proof multiple times. Asked to be put in touch with their art department and was consistently re-directed to different sales people. When I finally did get someone to help, they told me it was now too late and I would not possibly have my order in hand by the time of my event, even if I paid rush fees. Complete waste of time chasing no one to dead ends, and now I have nothing to distribute at my event. Don't bother. more

We received something that was not even close to what we ordered. We called the day we received it and immediately received a hostile, defensive response refusing to even hear me out. This company has HORRIBLE customer service and steals your money. You will not receive what you order. HORRIBLE. more

They don't even deserve 1 star. I ordered my lanyards on 1-29-19. When they arrived the black lanyards had pink all over them & the pink lanyards had black all over them. also the lanyards didn't com as I ordered them. they were to be imprinted, they sent me vinyl stickers on my lanyards. I called to complain. they said they would fix it. They sent me back new ones. When they arrived they weren't even the same colors that I had ordered. I called again to complain. I told them I wasn't happy with their company & I was going to send them back. They told me when they received the lanyards back they would refund my money. They sent me an address to send them to. I paid $17.40 to send them back. one week later I received the lanyards back & it said wrong address. Poor Customer Service 4/12/2019

I placed my order 4-11-19 at 4:30pm and approved the design to be delivered to me on 5-1-19. I needed to cancel the order. I called Customlanyard.net at 8:20AM on 4-12-19 and asked to cancel my order.(not even 16 hours later. Almost three weeks before they are to be sent to me.) I was told that they are "In production". All the customer service person could do was cancel my order and charge me 1/2 price ($64) I canceled and am charged half price for NOTHING. This is unfair. I would understand a small fee like 10%, but they have a 100% guarantee on their products so why would I be charged at all. if I really believed that product was being lost on your end however I don’t because these items where not being shipped to me until 5-1-19. more

Stay away 4/8/2019

Just cancel the order. The customer service is very poor. Both via emails and chats even worse. Very disappointed. Lots of time wasted trying to have my questions answered and all I get is the same emails and the same how may I help you in chat. Then no one answering my questions. Several chats and emails. Each time starting from the beginning. That’s just ridiculous. more

Not worth it 3/6/2019

I placed an order. I paid extra to ensure delivery on Monday, Feb. 4, 2018. It is Wed. Feb. 6th and I still don't have my order. It was only shipped yesterday. A day AFTER the guaranteed arrival date and they get around to shipping my order.I fear how my lanyards will look if I ever get them. As of the time I write this, I've only gotten the runaround with customer service. Avoid custom lanyards or go for the longer wait of free shipping. more

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY 11/7/2018

I never received poor service from any company. This would be the first company. I placed an order for a quantity of 50 lanyards and paid 42 USD for the grantee shipping date. Once I placed the order, it told me it would be delivered with in the next 2 days of my paid shipping date. I was very disappointed and contacted the LIVE chat and it was not helpful and gave generic answers, I also saved a chat history they said they would promise to refund my shipping cost. I contacted them again and they said it gave me a "delay discount of 25 USD" absolutely the worst experience and company to order from, do not waste your time or money here. They only put google ad's reviews and their own basis reviews on their site Be aware people! more

I should have look here 1st before I ordered from Custom Lanyard.net. I approved the proof for an order and my payment was processed on the same day (08/22/18). A week later I checked the order status and they said I didn't approved the proof with a link to approve the proof. I sent them the record of the charge from my CC statement. 6 days later, checked order status again, got email message saying order in production will be delivered on the 13th of September. more

I ordered 135 lanyards for a 50th high school class reunion. We wanted the lanyards to reflect our school colors. They sent me the wrong color. When I contacted them, I was told that they had to contact their factory (in China), and they would let me know in 24-48 hours what they would do. It's now been 4 days, and they continue to tell me that they have to check with their factory. Apparently, they don't have a telephone or internet connection with their factory. I would never use this business again for anything. They advertise that they guarantee 100% satisfaction. They don't. more

I have waited from the 6th of Aug to preview my order...I was told and promised by several managers that this would be done and I will have it by the 15th which is today!...I have been calling and calling and no one is able to help me.I explained to this company that I NEVER pay without seeing what I am paying for!!!..NEVER!!..I did it this time and look what happened.No order never shipped by today and received by today,no preview,no phone call....NOTHING!!...I am going to file a compliant with my bank by tomorrow if I don't receive my funds that I paid entirely for with the order.I will also file a compliant with the BBB for he lack of customer service skills by everyone!..Lack of empathy,broken promises,and took my money without delivering the goods!! I sent this to my bank on the 15th of August and still no refund from this company!I filed a complaint with my bank and will be posting my horrible experience online for everyone to see how this company is very unprofessional!..Take my advice...NEVER PAY FOR SOMETHING WITHOUT GETTING THE GOODS FIRST!!I have spoken with Lulu,Martin and Victor,among several others and no one is still responding to my calls! more

Horrible Customer Service 3/9/2018

I ordered a small quantity of lanyards. Ordering was easy. I paid extra for expedited processing and shipping. I received a tracking number but that was for delivery in Houston, TX and I live in TN. Turns out this is their office and its their process to ship to the office on small orders. Thanks to tracking I know my order sat in the office for two days before they shipped it to me. They sent it standard post even after I called and reminded them they guaranteed delivery by the 7th. I received it 2 days after my event. Requested my extra shipping fees be refunded. They replied "I apologise are for these troubles caused to you" . They refuse to take any responsibility for the delays or any issues. They show a good game on the website but once they get your money honoring delivery promises, quality, or any thing else goes out the window. more

Website deceptive & support staff does anything BUT! 2/8/2018

I ordered one style of lanyard and was given another. When I called about the mistake, they said that I was the one who made the mistake and that they would not return the order nor would they make it right. They did, however, offer to discount a new order by 10% so that I could have the style that I ORDERED IN THE FIRST PLACE! UGGGGGGGG! Never again!!! more

Started order process but then my customer put project on hold. I told Customlanyard.net this and they processed order and charged me anyway. Said "it's in our Terms and Conditions so we can do this." Then they said "feel free to complain, it's our T&C." Would never look at them again more

They wont give me a shipping label! 8/1/2016

So on the positive side, my order did come in pretty much okay and pretty quick. But on the other hand it took almost a week and a half to get the proof correct because they kept changing things that didnt need to be changed so when one thing would get corrected they would change another thing so I would need to get the new change they randomly made corrected until I finally got fed up and made my own proof of exactly what I wanted and sent it to them saying 'THIS IS WHAT I WANT!' that finally worked. Now, I received my order and the badge holders and the wrong direction (not a huge deal but I want what I ordered) I sent an email asking for them what we could do and their response was "well send you the correct ones but send back but thats to much of a bother so go ahead and keep them we'll just bill you $35 dollars" Bill me? for what something I dont want, so I asked again for a shipping label because I didn't want/need the badge tags and the response was "that just a cost you'll need to bear on your end" I will not "bear the cost" for the mistake of someone else Don't order unless you're willing to deal with this nonsense, yes you'll get what you ordered but it'll take for freaking ever! more
