Avoid this place. They came up with a laundry list of ""problems"" when I took my car to be inspected. But it turns out that only one small item needed repair in order to pass NYS inspection. They didn't even apologize when I told them I wouldn't pay for any other repairs, they just failed my car. more

Nice people working there when I went in to drop my car off. I didn't like that I got a call saying I need new brakes....my brakes are fine, they were replaced recently, I don't need to spend $200 to have them fixed. more

My 1998 Nissan Maxima brokedown on Atlantic Avenue, when I called AAA Cobble Hill service station showed up and towed me to their station. Not only was the work done promptly, the price was more than fair and my car was as good as new within a matter of hours. Everyone there was very helpful. In fact after that experience, I now drive 35 minutes out of my way just to go to Cobble Hill Service Station, even if only for an oil change. I highly reccomed them and would suggest that everyone use them. more

The need for my car 's repair came as I was travelling to the City from Boston to move a child into an apartment. My vehicle was towed to Cobble Hill luckily for me...the management there treated me with understanding courtesy promptness and skil! I was extremely happy to have had the benefit of their professionalism I recommend them highly!! more

Tony, the manager and one of three owners of this business, wondered aloud why he has to go to Small Claims Court to collect payment for ""repairs"" that he does on cars. Where there is smoke, there is fire..... If your car lands in this place, push it out if you have to do so. Do not leave it there to be repaired. His station has been reviewed as wonderful and convenient. It may be--to buy gas and/or have your State Inspection done. However, my experience with their repair work was one that I hope no one else has to experience. For me, this business should change its name to Cobble Hill Super Disservice. more

When I arrived to Cobble Hill service station, I dealt with Tony, I was worried that a lot of work would be needed on my car. Tony ashured me that only what needed to be done would be done and thats it. My car was back on the road in a matter of hours and it worked better that it did before. I would reccomend that shop to everyone, and I wil lmake sure to go back just because of Tony. more

GOOD experience. Last week, my car was towed to Cobble Hill station through triple AAA. I had a 2004 Honda that wouldn't start and I wasn't sure why. I was kinda of panicking about it cause I love my HONDA and it is my only means of transportation between school and work. During this time I went online and read the reviews for this place and starting having an anxiety attack. Some of the reviews were not so good and quite frankly I really hoped that i wasn't gonna get screwed out of money that I didn't have! The tow guy was very polite and nice to me but hey you still never know. Anyway, the next day I recieved a called from someone who worked there and he said that I needed a new fuel pump. I asked him ""Is that it?"" he said "" Yes Honey"" and told me that I could even pick the car up after 5pm that day. I was confused because some of the reviews about this station said that it is a ripp off. The mechanic was in a perfect position to screw me out of money and he didn't! I didn't question it and picked up my car and thanked GOD!!! In return I am posting this review on several sites because I feel that people should also read about my GOOD experience with Cobble Hill on Atlantic and Henry!!!:) more

I've been to this place twice as it's in the neighborhood and convenient. Both times I have gone to get my NYS inspection, they recommended my shocks be replaced. The first time I bit and paid whatever it was for new rear shocks. I then looked up and read the online reviews and found that others have had the ""shock push"" as well. Having just taken my car again for an inspection, I wasn't surprised they recommended shocks again. I guess they forgot they replaced them last year and were trying their same old BS. Be aware, my car certainly didn't need new shocks and they tried to sell them to me anyway. If you are looking for a good service station, go to Ami at Alfa motors, on Hicks St. He is honest, the best quality in a mechanic. more

I needed an emissions test done ASAP (as I had been receiving parking tickets for not having one and parking on the street) and it was taken care of promptly, at a reasonable price, AND they let me keep my car there overnight. Thank you! more

Went to the Cobble Hill Service center back on 3/9/12 to get a NYS inspection not realizing that it had expired just a week before. Keeping in mind that my car is 3 years old and has less than 40,000 miles on it I thought there would be no issues as I rarely drive the car and do mostly highway driving when I use it. Turns out that three hours after I dropped my car off, I received a phone call stating that there were all of these things that they claimed were wrong with my vehicle. Long story short, they failed my car for inspection because they said my rear brakes were shot and the car was unsafe to drive. This is a lie as my father is a mechaninc and had it up on a lift 2 months before to put new tires on it. I took my car home (three hours away) a few days later to a mechanic who has looked after my vehicle for years before I moved down to the city and it turns out that I had 2/3's left on my brake pads that equals about 20,000 more miles that I can get out of them before they need to be replaced. This place is a scam and they are not honest people. DO NOT TRUST THEM!! THEY WILL LIE TO GET WHATEVER THEY CAN OUT OF YOU!! Unfortunately, they only got me for $37 for the FAILED inspection that they gave. It could have been worse. I wish I had looked up the reviews on this place before I threw my money and time down the drain. more
