Coast has great sushi! I eat there at least once a week and have not been let down. The staff is friendly, the place is clean and the food is fresh! Absolutely delicious!! more

Average Sushi 5/18/2006

One of my co-workers suggested Coast Sushi Bar to me telling me that it was the best sushi place in all of Chicago. I went here with high expectations but Coast did not meet my expectations. The sushi was just average and it was way overpriced. The restaurant was not that great either. It was DARK. So dark that we had to use our cell phone lights to read the menu. Our waitress was just alright too and was hard to find many times. Overall, you can get better sushi for better prices elsewhere. more

Excellent Sushi 5/9/2006

Coast Sushi Bar is an awesome place near the city to get some good sushi. I like this place a lot because the sushi here is really tasty and they don't charge crazy prices for it. The vegetable tempura here is by far the best I have had anywhere. This place also gets crazy crowded on weekends for dinner so plan to wait! Sometimes you end up waiting almost an hour to get a table. But the cool thing is that this place is BYOB so bring a bottle of booze to enjoy while you wait to be seated! more
