Me and my boyfriend went for dinner yesterday after a coworder told me about it. This place serves new and interesting (to me at least) mexican food, nothing like any other mexican restaurant I;ve been to. It's like home style cooking in a restaurant. The flavor and presentation of the food was very good. We had an appetizer plate that was like a sampler and two orders of cochinita pibil. The cochinita pibil is a pork dish baked wrapped in banana leaf and marinated in this tangy citrus juice. It's probably the most moist and tender pork I've ever had. The restaurant is pretty with some outdoor seating (that no one was using, kinda cold last night). There was plenty of street parking at 8:00 pm. They also had live music wich was nice, we'll definitely be back. The prices were very reasonable considering the nice decor, good service, food and live music, about $70 for two including appetizers, main course, desserts and a couple of glasses of wine. I didn't score it a 10 because perfection does not exist!!
Pros: Food, live music, nice place, romantic, good service. Oh, did I mention the food!
Cons: none. I can't wait to go back.
