Food to die for! Great and completely original seafood dishes. 1/23/2007

I stoped by the new Chichen Itza over by Macarthur park after a friend told me that they had finally opened and let me tell you, the food was amazing! We had a plate called Chilmole de camaron, this spicy black mole with shrimp and the Tikinxic a orange colered filet served with pico de gallo and a citrusy flavored sauce. Both were amazing. The space is beautiful, without being pretencious, nice colors and good service. My server (I think her name is Karla) was knolegable about the food and very attentive. This place is a real treat. Highly recomended. Oh, their flan is also very good! Pros: Food, food and food. Good service, nice place for a romantic dinner Cons: Not much parking. The manager told me they will have valet on the weekends. Sweet! more

The restaurant looks as wonderful as the food tastes! 1/21/2007

Not only is the resutant decorated with so much tast, the food was amazing and very nice looking. I went there today on a first date and it could have gone anymore smooth. I belive theserver had a lot to do with that, helped us break the ice. All the food looked really nice and tasted good. You must try the pollo Pible ( Am not sure I spelled that right). I'll will be back again there soon :D Pros: The food! Cons: Not much parking more
