Oil leak on Ranger 1/8/2013

I have always have excellent service and honest feedback from all personnel at Gateway Transmission. Dave and his team is top notch and extremely experienced. The only place that I wish to gowhen I have issues with my vehicles. Thanks again! Fast and courteous! more

Good advice with customer satisfaction. 12/28/2012

Came in for an annual inspection 27Dec2012 for an RX 300 Lexus. The repair of the transmission was under warranty, still looks clean and no discrepancies. The front brakes were replaced a year ago so I had the shop look into a pulsating feel to the steering wheel during braking. The shop looked at the front rotors and needed resurfacing. It was resurfaced that day and re-installed for 113 dollars. I drove the Lexus with no problems. Nice work by the shop. more

They take care of my car for me. If something needs to be done, they tell me, then with my approval, they fix it. They only suggest things that actually need to be done. I can trust them more

Worst repair experience I've ever had 11/5/2012

Traveling through Washington from Florida when transmission failed. Four days short of eight weeks I finally got my vehicle badk. Over $6000 dollars out of pocket expense including rental car. Two breakdowns, each within 200 miles of the transmission being "rebuilt" requirine towing. In my opinion they were untruthful, uncommuitative, unprofessional and most of all unaploogetic. more

Very pleased with the work that was completed on my car. 9/21/2012

Gateway Transmissions did an outstanding job on fixing the transmission in my car. I was notified up front on the cost of the repair and nothing was done without notification first. My car was fixed in the time frame given and the customer service was awesome. I am very pleased with the way I was treated and have recommended Gateway Transmission to others that are in need of car repair . Gateway was able to get my car right in and they saved me from further damage then I could have ended up with. more

good service with a thorough eye to auto saftey 9/11/2012

When I first spoke to Dave, and explained my basic problems with my van, his recommendation turned out to be very accurate. Once the van was drivable, I brought it to the shop, and had them repair the brakes and do a tune-up. As they progressed thru each step, Dave kept me informed and let me know all the things that needed to done for a safe trip. more

Excellent service and repair time! For automotive repairs, this was our best experience! 9/4/2012

We had a total transmission rebuild in our 2001 F-250 Powerstroke truck. They got our truck in for inspection the minute we had it towed there. We were traveling out of state the following week and they had our truck completed by friday! On Saturday, the inline filter in the tranny line self destructed. They had us towed in first thing Monday and had it diagnosed and repaired by closing time the same day. They were very courteous, helpful, friendly and professional. The transmission shifts better than it ever has and we made our trip with no difficulties! We will use them again, and wil not hesitate to recommend them to any of our friends or family! more

They worked hard to work with the insurance company and thoroughly inspected my vehicle. Did not do any repairs that were not needed nor were extra parts put in just to change them. Great team at Gateway Transmissions. I would definately use them again for any of my car care needs. more

Very open and honest - only do the work that is needed and no tacking on like other garages tend to do. I recommend them without reservation as they are honest and truly doing all they can to asssist with any issues going on with our vehicle, without over doing it. more

Superb Mechanics and service 8/25/2012

I've always received prompt and excellent service. I trust their manager David Wright to give me an objective and honest appraisal of the automotive work necessary to be performed. Their cost of an oil change is higher than the numerous shops in the area but I am willing to pay the extra charge. I recommend Gateway unconditionally more
