Excellent Customer Service 6/27/2011

Didn't realize my insurance was no longer doing business with them, so when I walked in last week- I should have had to pay entirely out of pocket. They pointed this fact out, but then reminded me of how much they valued me as a patient, and gave me a free cleaning!!! I don't care if I have to change insurance or start paying out of pocket; the customer service they provide is so unbelievable and genuinely kind, that I don't ever want to change dentist offices. I would gladly pay out of pocket and twice as much to keep coming here. more

Greatest Dental Office Ever 6/24/2011

Hands down, the best dental office experience I've ever had. I was sad when my appointment was over....at the DEN-DIST! Unheard of.... Anyone looking for a dentist in or near downtown LA would be remiss not to give them a try. more

Really cool dentist 6/23/2011

The office is clean and easy to find with free valet parking! I loved the hand parafin wax and the x-rays literally took less than 10 minutes to complete. I enjoyed watching a video about the Earth as I waited for the dentist and everyone was very thorough, making sure to tell me what they were doing and why. It was really neat seeing the inside of my mouth. Did I mention that they have a message chair thing so when they're looking at your mouth you're getting a massage. Dentist office, hardly, I'd say this is more like a Spa where people happen to be looking into your mouth. more

Tooth Extraction 6/15/2011

I went into the office yesterday for exam; discovered the best course of action was a tooth extraction. The procedure was thoroughly explained to me and went without a hitch. Dr. Ashkan was terrific. more

Second Visit 6/11/2011

At my first visit I was told I was going to get my teeth bleached for free. That didn't happen. My wife was told she was going to get a free evaluation. She was charged at the end of the visit. more

I had a great experience the first time I visited. I had a horrible experience the second time I visited but the office staff did everything in their power to help me feel comfortable when I went back for my third visit. I saw a new dentist this time and was very happy with the experience. They take great care with the fact that I have major dental fears and are willing to walk through the process with me and let me be in control of the pace and experience. more

Great Dental Office / Spa 5/17/2011

The staff is very friendly from the moment you walk in the door. It was a rather relaxing experience, to get dental work done... I actually fell asleep twice in the chair! I recommend Dr. Akagi, and Laughing Gas for any major procedure. more

Outstanding Service and Clean 5/13/2011

I Feel like family as soon as I walk up to the front desk here. The receptionist staff are all very nice and helpful. Everyone greeted me with a smile and made me feel like family. I arrived early to my appointment and killed time with a warm, good smelling, hot wax treatment for my hands. I could not have been any better. more
