Calm Dental straight up raised the bar and all dentists both past and future for me. Service is phenomenal, quality of work is superb. After 2 root canals, a bunch of crowns and a cleaning my teeth are kicking arse. If the service was free, this place would be heaven, but it's not... more

This place is the best. It has removed all of the bad "dentist" connotations for me. Everyone is extremely friendly. They have a massage chair in the waiting room! (but I've never had to wait long enough to use it) more

Great fillings, but misleading website claims 11/23/2011

I got two fillings and the dentist and hygienist were great about making sure everything was pain free and the fillings were done properly. However, the website says that Calm Dental offers numbness reversal after giving local anesthesia so you can return to work and get right back to your meetings. After my fillings were done, I was told there was no such thing as numbness reversal and it would be a couple hours before the numbness went away. I would've scheduled the appointment for the end of the day if I'd known that. more

A few things 11/18/2011

Normally, I have an excellent experience at Calm Dental; however, yesterday I was disappointed. The new dental assistant that was polishing my teeth didn't really seem to know what he was doing and it took a while for him to finish. The dental hygenist was wonderful so no complaints there, but I went in having a problem with a tooth and I didn't even get to see the dentist, I had to make an additional appointment to do that - so I was not really satisfied with my visit overall. more

Great visit -- thorough, caring. 11/2/2011

This is my second visit, and it is even better than the first. During this visit, I had a much more thorough cleaning, and Kim was very gentle and used numbing gel on two areas that were a little sensitive. She provided excellent dental hygiene advice, and my teeth felt really clean afterwards. Thank-you. more

From the minute I stepped into Calm Dental, I was treated like a VIP! I barely sat down, and was taken into the room to start my cleaning, unlike other dental offices, that will make you wait for no reasons. Highly recommend this place of business. Also, you have to try the massage chair!! more

This was my best experience at a Dentist EVER! I love everything about this place. Super genuine, friendly staff all round, and the luxury perks make it a fun trip. The Dentist was professional, sweet and great at her job. My husband and I love it, and are definitely in for life. more

Easy, professional and fast. 10/23/2011

I came in for crown replacement and was out in 2 hours. Everyone was friendly, courteous and professional. Everything was explained clearly, all my questions were addressed and the cheery staff make what could be a stressful experience calm and stress-free. While having noting to do with the dental care, the fact that they're in the Biltmore Hotel building means easy, free valet parking (not to be underestimated in downtown LA) and more
