I think I've found dental happiness From the staff to the Dr. everything was great. They made me feel very comfortable and at ease. I feel they are helping me my phobia of dentist and they are working to help me with finding affordable solutions to my dental health I thinking i have probably found the right place for my dental hygiene. Such an awesome visit yesterday! Free valet parking, super friendly staff, up-to-date facilities, and all-around awesome atmosphere. It is so refreshing to be around a staff where you can tell they love their jobs! Before permanently moving to LA, I had been loyal to my dentist of 9 years in NorCal and I am super super picky about my teeth- I did not think anyone would ever compare to my previous dentist. I was beyond impressed with Calm Dental, however, as they not only provided me w/ a comprehensive checkup, but were able to squeeze in a last minute cleaning. Meant the world to me, as I find it very hard to get time off from my job. Loved this place and am very much looking forward to my next visit. I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever- their customer service is superior to none. more

Calm Dental: Highest Quality Work with Caring Style 11/24/2010

I thought I had the best dental care in Los Angeles for the last 15 years. Recently I switched to Calm Dental, located in the front of Downtown's Biltmore Hotel. Dr. Ash, assistants, and office staff are all first rate. With their all-digital office you will understand everything, including charges before treatment begins. Today my dentist called to ask how I was after yesterday's fillings! How common is that? WOW! I could not be happier. more

I never have to worry about being scared of going to the dentist again!!! 11/5/2010

I used to be terrified of going to the dentist, because I was traumatized by a horrible dentist. But after 6 years of not going to a dental office, I started to have a toothache that was so bad I could not even sleep. So the time had come and I did a lot of searching around my area for local dentists. I soon found Calm Dental and called them for more information, I never thought that one phone call could make me feel comfortable enough to know that I wanted to make an apt. I went for my exam and I was treated like family, relaxing and actually enjoying being in the office. I found out I had a horrible cavity and needed a root canal done after the first exam, so I made the apt. and I had the procedure done a week later, I felt no pain the entire time and Calm Dental made sure I was completely comfortable the entire time. Now I sleep wonderfully and I'm pain free, working towards the perfect smile I've always wanted!!! I'm always excited to go to the dentist now, I'm going to continue with regular appointments and I never have to worry about the anxiety of being scared of going to the dentist again!!! THANK YOU CALM DENTAL!!! more

Above and Beyond 11/3/2010

Calm Dental has a fantastic staff top to bottom. I felt like I was a part of their family from the minute I walked in the door. They ask a lot of questions to find out about you and then go above and beyond to make sure you are getting the best care for your teeth. I am a professional musician and I cannot do my job without proper care for my teeth and gums. I would HIGHLY recommend Calm Dental to any of my musician friends as well as any person who simply wants the best care, whether you are in the waiting room or in the dentist's chair! more

Emergency visit 10/28/2010

I'm visiting LA from Ontario Canada and had a dental emergency Tuesday evening. Wednesday morning at 10:30am I was fixed up and ready to enjoy the rest of my vacation. This was the best experience I have ever had, and I've never had anyone spend so much time making sure I was comfortable, and that the tooth was absolutely perfect. I wish I could afford to come down to LA and visit Calm Dental every time I needed to come to the Dentist! Thanks so much for everything, it was an amazing experience!!! more

Very good over all 10/27/2010

As dental visits go, probably my best since childhood. After a string of quacks (I actually have been to the dentist regularly until 2 years ago, not that you'd know it looking at my teeth), I am confortable 'in the chair' again. The staff was warmly professional, and the doctors seem dedicated to excellent care - not moving on to the next patient. As a linear thinker, though, I would like to see a timeline or 'project plan' for dental care. Idetifying items as 'more important' and 'can wait' is a little too ambiguous for me. I'm sure it works great for most. more

Easy. Comfortable. 10/1/2010

I don't have health insurance, so I was hesitant to go see the dentist, but everyone was really welcoming and understanding and let me know all my options and what needed to be done soon, and what could wait a little bit. The whole staff was very knowledgeable and treated me like I wasn't just a dollar sign. I wasn't pressured into anything and the best part was I didn't have to wait like when you visit any other doctors office. They were respectful of my time and got me in and out. Also, they had a flat screen TV in the office so i could see my xrays and photos of my teeth and the doctor explained everything that was going on in great detail. I will definitely be coming back and telling my friends about this place. more
