12/23/2013\r \r I use local florist to send to relatives who live in the Columbus, Ohio region.\r I currently live in Pennsylvania. My sister was having an important dinner\r party, I order a beautiful centerpiece that was on the Bloomtastic web site.\r I contacted the owners several time about this order. Much to my dismay\r the centerpiece arrived and looked nothing like the one online. I was very\r disappointment. When I corresponded with them about it. a woman named Heather\r said the following; ""Unfortunately miniature carnations, which is what is in the image on the website, were not available so we had to use full size carnations (there are multiple to a stem on the mini-carnations but only one on the full size) and the gold faux berries are sold out so we used red. ."" .....and no gold ornaments either? more

Not a reliable florist. They forgot to show up for my friends wedding. After many calls to the florist, they finally showed up 5 minutes before. At that point the brides maids had already gone to Kroger to get whatever flowers they could find. Unlreliable and not reccomended. more

I live in Chicago, IL but chose Bloomtastic in Columbus, OH to send flowers to a friend on a special occasion. I chose the bouquet of daisies in a glass vase and my friend said they were lovely! Very fresh, included white and purple daisies! She loved them! Thank you Blloomtastic! more

I have gotten lilies two times this year from Bloomtastic and both times I was very happy. Beautiful and they lasted a long long time! Will continue to buy from them and I recommend them to all my friends. more

I checked out Bloomtastic on valentine's Day. I was surprised to get such great flowers! The roses lasted over a week. I liked how they gave me instrucitons on how to care for them, although my wife did all that. I have been back once since and the flowers were, again, great. We are very pleased and highly recommend Bloomtastic. more

I just picked up my floral arrangement and was disappointed. I called Bloomtastic to let them know. I ordered ?The Christmas Gift? that was pictured on their website in the medium size. The website photo was also the medium size version. One reason I selected it is because of the gold accents included. The photo shows a square gold vase tied with red & gold ribbon so that it looks like a present, with red roses, red carnations, gold leaves and little gold ornaments (coming out of the top of the ?wrapped present?). When I placed the order, I was advised that the vase was not gold as shown in the photo; it was a clear glass vase, but everything else was the same. Everything else was NOT the same. I was interested in the gold accents. There was no red & gold ribbon, no gold leaves, no gold little ornaments. Everything was a monotone color ? red ribbon, red flowers and greenery. The arrangement looks very dark with no gold to brighten it up. Since it?s the centerpiece for my Christmas Day dining room table, I am disappointed. more

There flowers live really really long. They are really nice to me when I call and place an order and I know I can count on them to get it done. I'm comfortable with them, confident. I'm a customer for life. My Mom raved about how long the flowers lasted and my bff said the same thing. We used Heather and her team to design our wedding florals. We received so many compliments on the colors, floral variety, freshness, and style. I was married this past Saturday and it is Wednesday and my bouquet is still in amazing shape! I really feel like Heather listened to what we wanted in terms of uniqueness, color, price, and style. Heather was very easy to work with. She was friendly and professional. She has great communication skills. I definitely plan to recommended Bloomtastic to my friends who are planning weddings, as well as use them in the future for any other floral needs! Bloomtastic is a great flower shop. I don't order flowers too often, but I've found my lifetime supplier. Everytime I've dealt with them, they've been professional, nice and responsive...especially for my ""wait until the last minute"" mentality of flower and gift buying. I like to get my wife flowers so I stop on my way home. I've been going to Bloomtastic for years and they take care of me. They are always smiling when I walk through the door and my wife loves the flowers I bring her. They seem to last a long time and it scores me points. I don't go anywhere else. I hired Bloomtastic to do some floral centerpieces for my dinner party and they were amazing. They made my table look so beautiful. I had many, many compliments on them. Heather was one of those vendors you're thankful for during the wedding planning process because she was organized, professional, friendly and fully committed to the project. Working with Heather was so easy, stress-free and pleasant! I can't say that everyone at Bloomtastic is as pleasant to work with; when I dropped off a big box of vases to the store a few days before the wedding, one of the ladies watched me struggle to open the door myself without offering help or much personality. That was just silly. I think a few of the assistants are young and not the greatest at customer service but that shouldn't be a reflection on Bloomtastic as a whole. Admittedly, flowers weren't my top priority. Heather created a beautiful, cohesive ""vision"" from my not-so-decisive flower ideas and in one meeting, had it all figured out. The final results were beautiful, fresh and fragrant. My bridal bouquet was one of the most stunning I've ever seen and is just now starting to fade (after 10 days in plain water.) The bouquets and centerpieces were just a bit smaller than I had imagined, but didn't take away from how lovely they were. Highly recommend Bloomtastic! Heather and her staff at Bloomtastic were amazing to work with for our wedding. The vision we had in our head for our day came to life in the flowers even more than we could have imagined. There is no other place I would recommend for brides in Columbus. Amy at Bloomtastic was very accommodating to my vision while respecting my budget. I am not detail oriented and Amy really helped harness in all my big picture and unique ideas. She was creative and able to follow through throughout the process. Amy was also so patient with me; from the initial drawing of the contract when I asked her to tweak details in the flowers to achieve the same esthetic while lowering cost, to when I changed my mind for centerpieces at my final consultation. On the day of the wedding, I was taken aback how beautiful everything turned out ? it was all better than I had obsessively imagined! The wedding was in September, and now that we are getting pictures back, I am reminded of how much the Bloomtastic touch added to my simple, rustic, yet elegant wedding! I was on a very tight budget for my wedding and wasn't sure I was going to be able to have the ""wow"" factor I wanted from my flowers. I had an idea of what I wanted, but when I sat down with Heather, she was ready to suggest elegant, cost-effective alternatives that would not only look beautiful, but would be classic yet different, and would fit well within my budget. The flowers were absolutely stunning, so fresh, and complimented the bridal party's attire so beautifully. I am STILL getting remarks on how wonderful the florals complemented everything! I was married in Sept. 09 and Bloomtastic was truly the best choice I could have ever made. Not only did my flowers turn out gorgeous but Heather, the sales rep, was amazing to work with. I let her know my budget and she worked with it and gave me what I wanted. If what I wanted was way out of budget, Heather just did it on a smaller scale but kept the same flowers that I picked out. I visited other florists that laughed at me when I told them my budget but Heather worked with it. They also had another wedding booked the same day as mine (the other wedding booked first!) and you would have never known they were working on two weddings at once. My wedding was in July 2009 and my flowers were fantastic. They were easy to work with through the entire process. They handled several changes we made throughout the process (I booked them about 6 mos. in advance). Even though my contact person changed halfway through, there were no errors, and small mistakes were fixed at the final meeting. Everything arrived on time, fresh, and glorious. Bloomtastic was wonderful to work with for our September wedding! Heather was always responsive to my contacts even after our initial meeting and before our final consultation to help me work within my budget. The flowers looked great on our wedding day and arrived on schedule they even had extras that they allowed us to have which made for great hair accessories for my bridesmaids. My wife and I contracted Bloomtastic for our September wedding. All of the initial planning was done by the MoH and the bride, with a follow up done by myself and the bride. At the follow-up, we worked with a girl who was unfamiliar with the order, but who found it and went over everything so we could finalize the order. Day of, the flowers were dropped at the church outside of the contracted timeframe with no notification to the party that they were ready. The bride's bouquet looked nice, but did not include the requested flowers from the finalization. The bridesmaid bouquets had different flowers than what we ordered, meaning that they did not match the groomsmen. The father's bouquets were poorly held together, and the flowers were wilting. The delivery included more than a dozen roses we hadn't ordered, as well as a half-dozen or so extra bouquets. Upon listing our concerns to the company, we received the absolute worst customer service I have ever seen. Our concerns were belittled or ignored completely, we were patronized and insulted by the owner, Heather Waits. Essentially, we were told that because the company does hundreds of weddings per year, ours did not matter to them. The extra flowers demonstrate to me that we highly overpaid our contract, yet the owner sees this as a bonus, rather than a problem Because of the actions of the owner, I cannot recommend this business to anyone. I ordered flowers for my mom because she broke her hip and was having surgery. I ordered them well before the 1 pm cut off for same day delivery that it said on the web. About 2 hours later I received an email saying that they were done delivering for the day and that my order would go out on monday. I called to see what the issue was and was given the excuse that the hospital doesn't take deliveries saturday afternoon. I called the hospital who said they had no such rule. When I called the florist to let them know I was met with a hostile manager who said that she had 9 weddings today and she didn't have time to argue with me. Translation:they were overbooked and didn't want to make the delivery, however they would be happy to take my money and do it when it suited them. I used Blumen Garten who delivered the flowers just fine. Oh right and the owner has now tracked my awful reviews of her store and commented on them, insinuating that I cussed at her over the phone and that the Hospital has this rule, She also seems to think that emails aren't time stamped and the I am incapable of reading those times to see the difference in time between when my order was placed and when I was told they couldn't deliver. Don't use them. go to Blumen Garten who were lovely and not confrontational. more
