The Auto Doctor is a fantastic auto shop overall. Terry, the owner, works the desk and deals with his customers face to face. He and his team are very honest and excellent at what they do, which is hard to say for a lot of auto shops out there. When your car is returned, the problem is always 100% fixed and Terry usually sees to it that any other problematic areas are brought to your attention. more

You know how having a good mechanic is like finding a great doctor? That's Terry all over. He is knowledgeable, helpful, but MOST IMPORTANT, he is one of the most honest people I've ever had the pleasure of doing business with. I am a single Mom on a tight budget, and when I ask Terry honestly, ""Do I really need to have this taken care of?"", he tells me honestly, and if the issue can ***wait*** for a bit, he tells me, so I can budget accordingly, but if the issue needs to be dealt with now for my safety, he is forthcoming. If you've got a domestic car, Terry is your guy! more

When replacing the serpentine drive belts, they installed one out of alignment and it began to wear a plastic cover. I had to remove the belts and re-install them on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere. I also found the old belt laying on top of the engine. more

The Auto Doc on Montrose is a very friendly shop that will not pressure you into fixing unnecessary repairs. The owners were sure to give me the best possible price for the parts that I needed. I highly recommend these guys. more

My bf always recommends his friends to go to this place because he's so good!! This owner/mechanic knows his stuff, but he's charges high. He also knows how to diagnose and repair electrical system, ABS problem, and any other computer related issues. Mostly he specializes in GM made cars. This guy has been in business for awhile, so you know your car will be taken of. more

I really appreciate that the guys at Auto Doc are conveniently located, trustworth and friendly. The only thing that I would have liked to see is a more complete diagnosis done on my truck. I believe a electronic computer test and visual test were completed, but I would guess a road test was not. If a road test would have been done they would have noticed the vibation in steering wheel and the "cutting out" from the engine upon acceleration. I told them I'm going on a long trip and asked for the truck to be evaluated and repaired. They did a great job on the items that were diagnosed and were very speedy about it, which I greatly appreciate. However, driving home I quickly realized the two items I mentioned above were not fixed. I would like to be clear and say I didn't mention the vibation in the steering wheel when I dropped it off, but the cutting out of the engine was mentioned and the dianose was a "carbon treatment would make the truck more responsive". The carbon treatment did increase the responsiveness, but the engine still cuts out from time to time when accelerating. I'm hoping those two items will not be a major concern as the budget for the repairs has been used up on the orignal trip to Auto Doc. I will be going back to the Auto Doc in the future, but I'll be a lot more specific about what I would like to be looked at rather than a general evaluation of the vehicle. I'll chalk this trip up to mis communication as I can see how I could have been more clear in expectations when I dropped off the vehicle. more

Terry the owner, works with you directly. He and his staff repair our company vans and personal vehicles. It would be tough to find a more honest mechanic. more
