Dr. Parker’s response to my question was clear and consistent with a Surgeon’s view, from the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania on treatments for external hemorrhoids. I wasn’t looking for a 2nd opinion, but Dr Parker’s response gave me one. Instead of searching for the information provided to us over 3 years prior on the viable treatments, I asked WebMD. I later found the treatment documentation, which reinforced Dr. Parker’s input. The cost to acquire that information from WebMD, was a fraction of our initial expenditure. That’s why the question was asked of WebMD. Always knowing there was no substitution for the physical patient to doctor interaction, which would be required before beginning the actual treatment of the problem.
