Although I don't enjoy having chronic pain, I love going to this place. I have never had any issues with the staff or the providers over the past few years. I was a patient of Dr. Rubin's, but now seeing Dr. Kubitz because my insurance changed. I rarely have to wait to see Dr. Kubitz, and he and his PA work together very well to coordinate my care. I have and will continue to recommend my family and friends to come here for pain management needs.\r more

With all due respect Tim T, you don't know what you are talking about. Do some research on this practice and you will find numerous problems with them, all of them.\r I just caught them attempting to bill not only my current insurance, but, my previous insurance from 5 years ago for numerous unnecessary tests done without my knowledge.\r more

I have been to the clinic many times over the last five years or so and I was always pleased before this last year. I am sorry to say the service here has gone straight downhill as it is an office that cares more about covering their you know what than the patient. I am very fond of Dr Rubin, but you can't even get into to see him any longer as all he does are the surgical procedures - I know because I asked. While the staff is friendly, the system they have in place does not work. Drug tests are done without disclosing costs, billing quotes aren't even close to what is owed, and the many times I requested help and clarification on it all I was passed from person to person to person. Staff forgot to call me when they had authorizations from my next procedures, their medication system is run like everyone is a drug addict, and their is just no doctor patient relationship development what so ever. If even took me about a month to get them to release me back to my original doctor so he could manage my pain and my meds. I strongly advise you to find another pain management clinic. more

When I was in last week to see Dr. Kubitz for my monthly follow up, I couldn’t help but notice how well Michael and the front office handles every patient that walked through the door. For example: Michael was dealing with a patient who was upset about their bill and he remained very calm while explaining to the patient the reason they had the bill as well a possible solutions. Once the patient started to understand he calmed down and thanked Michael for his time and even apologized to the staff for make such a scene. Jane D. and Susan S., with the upmost resepct have no idea what they are talking about. more

Agree with Jane D. This is a bait & switch operation. They tell you they contact your insurance company and what the co-pay is. When speaking to the insurance company, they never contacted them and the procedure ended up costing me 5X out of pocket then what I was told. Got the same bs from Mike. Beware!! more

Rude staff (especially Mike the office 6/6/2012

Rude staff (especially Mike the office manager), terrible customer service. Their priority is obviously not patient care. Don't believe the pre-cert. information - they say they call your insurance and confirm coverage, but that's not true. You'll end up paying for everything and they will hide behind the releases they make you sign. more

talented doctors, awful staff 12/28/2010

I've taken my wife here a few times for pain related to a bulging disk. She says the doctor is good, but as I wait in the waiting room, I cannot believe what I'm hearing from the front office staff. This one, Holly, I believe was the name I caught, is answering the phone, and EVERY patient that calls gets insulted after she puts them on hold or hangs up. Making snide comments like these patients must be idiots, and why do they need to call so many times. I just sat there aghast as she laughs at these people and makes these awful comments to her coworker, who himself was talking about how hungover he was from the night before. Having seen my wife on the other side of that phone call, it makes me sick. When someone you love is in pain and only wants to schedule an appointment, and its been days and the office hasn't called back, you don't like to hear that she'll be mocked for following up. You people are what's wrong with healthcare in this country. more

The Best Staff and Doctors 5/28/2010

From the time I first walked through the door the office was welcoming and the staff made me feel at ease. They informed me of what my up front costs would be and did their best to accomadate my financial situation. The doctor was wonderful, informative, and very down to earth. All in all this office is exceptional.\r \r I'm not sure if the other people who posted reviews were just uneducated about their insurance policies or just angry in general. The staff has always gone above and beyond for me and all the people I have referred. This office is truly one to be admired and I'm thankful that I found them. \r \r Pros: friendly/helpful staff and caring doctors more

Doctors are great 12/1/2009

Received excellent relief with my pain. Had some insurance issues as well, but I chose the plan I had.... so really can't blame anyone but myself. Procedures in office is a plus. Pros: Great care, see the doctors regularly more

Office staff is rude and unhelpful 11/23/2009

Since I had not yet reached my deductible on my insurance, the staff required me to pay over two times what the office visit costs through my insurance company for both the first office visit and the follow up visit for treatment. It has taken two certified letters and three months to get a partial refund. Pros: The doc and PA were wonderful and the procedure worked well Cons: Overcharged for services and having trouble getting refund more

Great Doctors! Not-so-great office staff! 2/27/2009

There were 3 people in line to check in and the office staff was too concerned about getting their McDonald's food ordered. The doctor and the PA were absolutely wonderful. Unfortuanately, this place has high tech procedures but expects you to pay $1000's of dollars out of pocket with no payment plan, no help, nothing. I beginning to think natural remedies are the way to go. Pros: Wonderful Doctor's and PA's Cons: Snobby office staff, No financial help more
