Back for a 4th visit 9/10/2008

I am always amazed at how great my color comes out everytime i go see Amad. He is my hero. I get i think about three colors put in and I always get loads of compliments when i leave. The color has never been this wonderful, and it lasts til i come back. It keeps getting better and better, I cant wait to see what your gonna do next Amad... Thanks a bunch !!!!!!!! -Rachel more

my hair is still straight 9/10/2008

I am so shocked!! I am still getting compliments on my hair and its been almost a week since it was done. I have the thickest curliest hair ever. Getting it straight is like a two hour process, burning blowdryer, and screaming kids...I was referred to Amaci by a co-worker, who recommended Curtis for ethnic, or curly hair. He was so nice and such a great listener, I thought i was gonna break his poor arm, lol, but my hair is fabulous!!!! If only i could get him to do this every day before work .....lol..... Thanks more

Outstanding service by far 9/10/2008

I am very pleased to refer this salon for anybody who cares about the health and integrity of color treated hair. I had a corrective color with Curtis, very talented young man, and my hair feels and looks healthier than its been in years. I didnt even have to tell him what to do, it was by far the most amazing service I have recieved in a long time!!! THANK YOU CURTIS YOUR NEW CLIENT GAIL !!! Organized Staff 9/10/2008

I am very impressed with the customer service in this salon. I have been frequenting salons since i was about 13. I recieved a courtesy reminder call regaurding my appointment a day prior. As well while i was waiting for my color to process, a very nice young lady handed me two magazines and a glass of water. I left there with a very psitive impression. I have never been treated so.........nice in a salon i guess. A touch of class. more

BOSTONS BEST BY FAR 9/10/2008

I read all these ads for expensive salons and trendy lil places that come and go all over Boston, but when i heard a handful of girls at my office talking about Amaci I had to go and check it out. I work at Liberty Mutual, which is about a 4 min walk to the salon. I had my appointment set up on my lunch break haircut. The test was if i loved it, and if i made it back on time. Well I did more than both! My hair cut was incredible. A guy named Curtis did this dry cut technique which was perfect. I saw exactly how much was coming off and the finish was so impressive healthy and fast! Bostons Best if i say so more

I've been to the salon and all I can say is, I'm not sure where these reviews come from. I think they are the owners friends. The owner was too busy taking care of other customers to pay attention to me or even blow-dry my hair (someone else did it). He seemed more concerned with himself than with the customers. I would go elsewhere. Cons: prices, unprofessional service more

Best eyebrow threading! 9/6/2008

I have been getting my eyebrows done for years. A small treat I like to give myself once every month or so! A little over a year ago, I found Amaci Salon. Let me tell you - - best find ever! I had never tried threading, but decided to get it on a whim - 20 bucks for the best eyebrow shape I have ever seen. I never make appointments there - always walk-in and I am never waiting long. Amma always does an amazing job! I have gotten them done out of town before...and the results are incomparable! Pros: Not too pricey for the service, always an amazing job! Cons: None! more

Amad is a creative genius!! He has been my stylist for ten years now and I will never let anyone but him touch my hair. He is an expert in deciding exactly what color suits my hair as well as what cut will work best for me. Pros: Amazing Service, Trendy Cuts Cons: None! more

It's very hard for me to change stylists but when I moved to boston I had no choice. I found Amaci because it is located across from my school and happened to be appointed to Amad. He is absolutly amazing. After the first time I walked out so amazed and from then forward I knew I coul djut say ""do whatever"" and it woudl look amazing. BUT, dont ever miss an appointment because they will never call you back. and now Ive had to change my salon and im not happy about that Pros: high skill Cons: wont call you back more

He is an expert in deciding exactly what color suits my hair as well as what cut will work best for me. The staff at Amaci Salon-they are amazing! Friendly, sweet and energetic! The salon is very modern with fun music and overall has a warm, welcoming feel. Amaci Salon is a must visit! Once you have Amad cut your hair, I gurantee you will keep coming back! Curtis did my extensions and I get compliments everywhere I go. Because of him, I know that they are affordable. He's honest, does a GREAT job, has a wonderful personality and he's reasonable, which is more than I can say for other Back Bay spots. I would recommend him to anyone that needs a great haircut or wants to change their style. Pros: Great haircut, reasonably priced, friendly staff Cons: horrible make-up, salon needs more 'pazzaz' more

I would recommend him to anyone that needs a great haircut or wants to change their style. I wish I could say the same for the make-up artist they have there. I went for a trial run before the wedding and left in tears. The make-up was so severe and not at all appropriate for a wedding. A halloween party, yes. I told her a few times it was too much and she really didn't get it. She used so much eye make-up that after FIVE times washing my face, I still had this horrible black eyeler on. I love Curtis and would go back to him in a second!! Pros: Great haircut, reasonably priced, friendly staff Cons: horrible make-up, salon needs more 'pazzaz' more

Skip the wait to faboulous hair 8/18/2008

I was AMAZED at how my hair looked when i left i almost didnt even recognize myself, Curtis did a full head of extensions in about 2 hours that blew me away i saw extensions on the website but didnt know he could do it that same day. My husband couldnt keep his hands out of my my hair...hell i couldnt either Pros: I feel like im back in my 20's more

Due for a new look? Book an appointment with Amad Saab. I have been a customer for 10 years and my hair always looks fresh and current.
