My experience with them was truly horrible. They botched the installation of the unit and in December i could not get my house above 55 degrees. What was unacceptable was that the techs came out and told me that the nature of my unit made it impossible to heat my house. I called the office the next day and explained that I was told my unit wasn't working. As it turned out, the auxillary heating element was never functional. That means the installation techs never tested the unit once they put it in and then lied about it to my face. I went 3 days without heat. I had to call and remind them to fix it; they didn't even prioritize me after installing a faulty unit.
Then, my unit wouldn't pass inspection. They did not ground it appropriately. It took 6 weeks and 3 trips for them to fix it. Once, the guy lied and said he had come out and fixed it. The inspector went under the house and said ""no, he didn't."" I had to go to the Better Business Bureau to get them to come back and fix the unit so I could pass inspection. At one point I caught the tech cannibalizing the fuses from my home to fix it because he didn't bring any himself. If it hadn't been the fuse to the outlet that my wifi modem is powered from and the fact that I was currently working on my laptop, I wouldn't have known until too late and then would have had to pay an electrician to come out. .
THEN, after 1.5 years, I get a call that states they want to do the 1 year service. the woman on the phone is having a had time comprehending that I have a job and cannot be there at her will. She finally says Friday at 3;30 or 4. I ask which is it, 3:30 or 4? She responds 4. I leave work early, no one shows up. I get a call at 5:15 saying he is on his way. I state, no, I expected this to be done by now, I have things to do. The company claims that they told me anytime after 4. No, I don't run my life that way. I never would have agreed to that on a Friday night. So, I have a shotty system, they do not do the required maintenance, and I am terrified when something goes wrong with this if it is still under warranty.
All in all, I missed 9 days of work over this.
I really hope I never have to deal with this company again. Worst I have ever encountered. Extremely rude and dishonest.
