Furnace service and replacement 1/29/2014

They did excellent and clean work. They explained everything including my options and walked me through the finished product. The fan on my furnace wasn't coming in unless I turned it on manually. I sent an email and was promptly called back. They were able to schedule an appointment for the next day. They called me as promised a half hour before and arrived on time. Sadly the circuit board on my furnace was burned out. The furnace was 20 years old and the chances and cost of patching the furnace didn't make sense. I was present with both repair and replacement options. I chose to replace it with an 80% variable speed fan furnace. I liked the idea that it could crank the fan up and down. The 95% furnace wasn't of value given the smaller size of my house (1200 sq ft). The rest of the crew showed up by 3:00 pm and the furnace was gone and new one installed by 5:00. They walked me through the new thermostat and showed me all the work done. They brought the pipes up to code and and redid the wiring. The filter I already have work. more

ARS Rescue Rooter 1/26/2014

Rod came out and checked my sewer lines because of backup and ran the camera to see what the problem was. He was very professional and answered all the questions we had. He discovered that the line going to the kitchen was very badly deteriorated and there was a lot of sludge coming back. I felt confident that he knew what the problem was and arranged to have the problem repaired in a timely manner. more

Heating Emergency 12/9/2013

Nothing like discovering your heater isn't working when it is -5 outside! I contacted ARS and Keith was at my home during the scheduled window. He thoroughly explained the problem and fixed the issue in a timely manner. He also helped me understand what happened and how to prevent future problems. He was professional and well-organized. I would recommend Keith and ARS to friends and family. more

All the people at ARS were knowledgable and friendly. They showed up on time. Additionally, they did not bump me for someone else's service needs. I really appreciated this. It has been a problem with other services, where the company cancels and reschedules 3-4 times before I get the work done. But, not with ARS. The technician was experienced and helpful. I am very pleased. more

Fall Furnace Service 10/13/2013

The customer service rep called me twice the day of service to keep me updated on Keith's schedule. Keith arrived on time and was very professional, yet friendly. He did the normal service on the furnace and then told me that he had noticed we had a carbon monoxide detector but it was located too high to be the most effective. He helped me find a better location for the detector and I really appreciated his advice. more

Swamp cooler drained and furnace checked 9/30/2013

Rick Nelson drained my swamp cooler and checked my furnance. He did an excellent job explaining to me the process and what I could do to insulate my swamp cooler. Great suggestions. He then sat down with me and explained my aging furnance and what to consider if/when I purchase a new furnance. Very helpful and not pushy. more

Mr. Leroy Steele has done a very nice repair job for my water heater 7/29/2013

Leroy came in time. He found problems of the water heater quickly and made a detailed explanation to me what parts need to be replaced and their cost. He ran out for the parts and came back to replace the parts in just two hours. And also he teaches me how to take care of the water heater in yearly basis. I learned a lot from him. He is a good guy and is very professional. more
