A Pizza Mart

I have had the privilege of choosing this little jewel of a pizzeria. The selling prices are great for delivery or have-out. The pizza good quality is somewhat very good granted the reduced price range busting prices. I would highly recommend this pizzeria as a beneficial pizza with a super value. more

If you are looking for great pizza, I don't think this is the place for you. Their pizza is pretty average and in a town like Seattle there are plenty of excellent pizza joints. If you are looking for cheap drinks, this place is excellent! I also like the atmosphere - good music is always blasting and there is always some crazy movie playing. Plus, once you've had a couple of the drinks pizza is always an added bonus. By far my favorite bar from college (I'm a recent grad) and I still sometimes go. more

I'm not sure how long it's been since the A Pizza Mart remodeled, but it definitely looks much more like a place you'd want to hang out in now. I went there tonight and got the garlic/artichoke heart/sundried tomato pizza with their half-off special (they always have a bunch of deals going, the woman at the counter said [she couldn't even remember them all!], so it pays to find an ad of one before you go). It wasn't the best pizza I've ever had, but it definitely tops Domino's and Pizza Hut. It was my boyfriend's birthday, and we mentioned this, and got a free slice of ice cream cake. Awesome. With the half-off special, we paid $8 plus tip for our meal. They also have calzones, sandwiches, pasta, and beer and wine. It's open until 4 AM for your post-bar closing enjoyment. more

I've probably played Monopoly a hundred times (well actually, quite a bit less than that. It wouldn't have sounded as strong if I had said "ten times") and I don't think I've ever bought, traded for, or in any way acquired Indiana Avenue. Likewise, I've walked up and down The Ave. a hundred times (here, I'm not exaggerating) and have never bought pizza from A-Pizza Mart. Okay, I did walk in there one time because I felt sorry that no one was in there. The pizza was unremarkable. At any rate, A-Pizza Mart is the Indiana Avenue of pizza places: it's arguably the most nondescript locale in the game. How A-Pizza Mart stays in business is a conundrum of sorts. I mean, let's be honest, in all my years of passing by the place I've never seen anyone in there other than the little lady behind the counter. In fact, if anyone can document a legitimate patron sighting at A-Pizza Mart, I'll award them with a free slice of pizza and a small ice water* (*see disclaimer). I sometimes fantasize that A-Pizza Mart is a front for a local cockfighting ring, or somehow connected to an illegal tea laundering scheme set up by the same people who were harboring Trotsky's axe. Well, 2 stars for okay pizza...economy pizza...you know, when you've been drinking and you want some food. A-Pizza mart is open late, and they deliver. Be careful when you're drunk though, these guys will charge you anywhere from the cost of the pizza to whatever you give them! I once paid $20 for a $10 pizza because I was a little out of it. Eat the pizza fast, or split it with some friends...once this pizza gets cold it's not worth it anymore. more
