I love this bar! So do many of my friends. As far as bartenders ignoring you, general rule is, put your empty glass/bottle on the ledge of the bar(yes, that's what it is there for) and the wait staff will know you're ready for another one. Sitting there staring at them doesn't much help as they are not mind readers and cannot "sense" that you need a beer. As far as the smoking, they tried the non-smoking route and lost quite a bit of business because of it. Face it people, it's a bar, if you want cleaner, fresher air go to a non-smoking restaurant or stay home, or just walk outside and smell the "clean smog" if you prefer it over smoke. Bottom line is it should be up to the individual owner of the establishment whether or not to allow smoking, if you don't like it, don't go there.I would recommend this bar to anyone looking for a good time in a relaxed,fun-loving environment.
