I have bought three vehicles from Nelson Mazda; two at the previous location in Broken Arrow and one at the Tulsa store. The salesmen are always courteous with me and my wife when we come in for a visit. There's never any pressure and they understand when we come in just to look. Speaking of a visit, my wife was on her way to work one day in a non-Mazda vehicle that was having major problems. The service department got her right in, fixed the problem and had her back on the road in less than an hour. Nelson Mazda has at least two customers for life. Maybe the person from the last review was having a bad day?

We purchased a new Mazda3 in 2004 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This is our first Mazda that anyone in the family has purchased. From your customer service warranty program, this will be the LAST. From our understanding, speaking to your customer service representative (Michael) is that the Mazda Corporation only covers manufactured defects. We were lead to believe, in any other company we've ever purchased a new car from, they have honored their warranties. This is the main reason why we buy new cars, is for the warranty. Michael's explaination of your warranty is you only fix items that you want to. He informed us that that you do not replace items that wear out from normal wear and tear. We were unaware of any part on any car that doesn't wear out over time. Example: paint when it's taken out in the sun, or an engine, that is started and run. What type of company do you have which you will not fix part of a transmission under normal circumstances when your new car salesman and your ads continutally say that you do? There has been nobody at Mazda that have given us an explanation to why this wasn't covered except they didn't want to. If this is how your company treats customers, we will let everyone we know all about your 'quality' warranty. Companies who pick and choose what they will repair, will not have satisfied customers. Could someone please contact us about this serious situation.

Perhaps my best car buying experience ever. No BS, answered all of the questions. No pressure. "Give me your best price" was prompt and more than competitive. Drove from Norman Oklahoma to Tulsa to buy our new Kia Sedona. Most knowledgeable car sales department I have ever seen and no attempts to redirect us to something they wanted to sell. Can't say about the service department and not sure I will drive that far for servicing. Can say this though, my whole life I have always driven a new car home, and promptly removd the dealer logo from the back of the car. Gonna keep my Primeaux logo on tho, because it always makes me happy to see the name. Silly huh. imho2u

I had to take my car to them being the warranty was through them and I was worried that they were not very nice people. Wow I was wrong!!! They took my car in first thing in the morning and tokk me home and even came back to get me when my car was done. All the workers were so very nice and helpful. This place seemed very organized and very clean.

I wasn't looking forward to a new car purchase. We all hate the game playing, power trips and tricks used by some car salesmen at some car dealers. My salesman's name was Mitch. He was a likable fella, didn't act pushy or anything. I read up on auto purchasing before I went out looking. I was given a fair deal and left happy with the transaction.

I purchased a 2008 Ford Ranger at this dealership on 1/23/09. On 2/18/09 I called because I still had yet to receive the title. I left two messages for a lady named Cindy. My calls were never returned. I called Joe Cooper Midwest city location and spoke to someone that informed me that they were having trouble obtaining the title for the car. I was under the impression a dealership could not legally sell a car until they obtain the title. I asked the rep what I was supposed to do. They told me I would not be under penalty because of the date that will be on the transfer portion of the title (If they ever receive it!) I asked what I was supposed to about the paper tag that was about to expire and she informed me that there was nothing they could do about this. Now I was ticked off.
I now called the GM at Joe Cooper Tulsa named Kip Carns. Nice man, but I really question his management. I complained about Cindy who does not return calls and ask him what he is going to do about my paper tag that is about to Expire. He tells me he will look into it and call me. I never received a call back this day. I call him the next day and he tells me to bring the truck by and he would put a dealership licensee plate on it. I don't even know if this is legal, but I went along with it. Now on 2/20/09 Cindy finally calls me back and tells me I need to come in and fill out new paperwork!!! I do not know what I am going to do know, but I just want to take this truck back to them and be done with it because they have no idea what they are doing. I am not sure where to go from here or what my options legally are. Worst part is I purchased a 30K Ford Edge from the same dealership one year ago. They will not have any of my future business.
All I know is STAY AWAY FROM JOE COOPER TULSA!!!
Pros: Jesus was a great sales man!

I bought my car here in 1999, and couldn't be happier with this business. The people there were very respectful, attentive, and considerate. The prices at Enterprise are on the cars and there isn't any negotiating, but these are program cars, or cars that were used as rentals. They are in good shape, and the cars all come with a 12 month warranty. I was given the choice of having my windows tinted at their expense, which I took them up on. I felt like the price was very good for the car I got, and I haven't had any complaints. I would use them again.

This was one of the first places I stopped when I started car shopping. I had no idea what I wanted. The salesman came out was very nice and took me around and showed me ALL the choices I had. He spent a good hour with me, then we went inside to see what we could do about payment and my trade in. well they couldnt do what I wanted so I told them, I needed to think about it. They were still very nice and let me walk out the door. I didnt go back because I found a better deal, but I will say they were very nice and not pushy!
