Businiess name:  Tavern Restaurant

Review content:
August of 2006 was our first encounter with "The Tavern," and we're hooked, this was our send off meal to our PSU freshman. We loved-and still LOVE the food, service,(Yo,Eric), atmosphere, and value, always fresh, exciting and delicious meals. I feel like I'm home, so relaxing and comfortable. I alway must start with the escargot, then spinach salad, I let my son pick my entree because he'll take my leftovers to his dorm and it's just too hard for me to choose which yum-o one to try. The waldorf salad is unique and oh so good because (Thank You) Chef does not use mayo, but, get to Tavern early because this side runs out fast. I have yet to meet a side I didn't like. The seafood lasagna is another favorite that's out of this world, and the veal, beef, lamb, or, oh, stop me now, I'm drooling. Desserts if you have room are luscious. Everyday the menu changes and is posted out front by the Apple sign on College Ave. to wet your appetite. I alway enjoy my 3 hour drive to pick up or drop Drew to State 'cause I know my reward is a Tavern dinner with him...always consistently palate pleasing and Fab-U-lous. Enjoy and Thanks to everyone especially Pat at the Tav. See ya soon...Hugs, Judy A.
