Organized Living is the best store on the planet. If you are planning to organize your house - it is a place to go to get all of your containers, closets and much more. If you want to save some money (their prices are rather steep) - wait for their sales that happen pretty frequently.
I know they have a closet sale usually every 3 months (after major holidays.) They offer you 20% discount which is huge when you buy a pre-cut closet system that adds up to over a thousand of dollors!

Do you need some new, fashionable clothes but are low on cash at the moment? Then, have no fear, Ross is here! :], haha, corny, but, really, Ross is really cheap and has most of the same clothes as the "big" stores. Tops start at sometimes $2.99, sometimes even lower (if you look hard)! Pants, jeans, skirts start at the same price, and they're all cute (they even have some brand names like Adidas, Levi's, Nike). Shoes are SO cheap, and they have lots of styles (A LOT CHEAPER than department stores). All you really have to do is look hard. It's really fun to shop here and see what you can find!

I don't often go to TJ Maxx but when I do they tend to have nicer and different stuff than Marshall's or Ross. They also have a nicer way of displaying their shoe collection, so you can more easily find your size and what they have.

I'm not a huge fan of large shopping complexes to begin with, but Hillsdale is a good place. It's not as uppity as other are shopping centers, and most of the time it's not a crowded either, which makes it perfect for me. It has most of the major stores and a few quirky independent ones too. It's a pretty nice locale over all, and conveniently located near public transit stops.

This is better than than the Goodwill (which is a lot more expensive). It has cute books, toys, and clothes. It has nice owners, and it's in a nice area. It has great prices which is my favorite part about it. You should go here if you're low on money and need something for your kids.

This is a great little market. The produce is always fresh, features organic and non-organic produce, reasonably priced. The ethnic sections are good. There is a bakery and you can get fresh sandwiches and soup. They have a frequent buyer program where you earn money every time you shop that can be used as soon as you earn it. Because it is a small market, the non-food item selection leaves a bit to be desired, but being able to find cake meal for Passover and special Passover Pound Cake Mix (which are often hard to find) and the great Asian packaged food selection make up for it. And they carry Marianne's, my absolutely favorite local Ice Cream (Santa Cruz), which is enough of a reason in my book to shop there. The staff is friendly and helpful.

I like dropping by the $1.25 Store just to see what kind of stuff they have for really cheap. They have everything there. Party favors, jewlery, household items, food, kitchen supplies even DVDs. It's great. One thing that I don't like though is that this place has a weird smell. I can't explain it, but I guess it's not so bad. You'll get use to it once you walk around for a while.

More
My parents sent me flowers about 6 years ago and Dana's Flower Basket was the company contracted with FTD (I think) to deliver them. I wasn't there, so they didn't leave the flowers and left me a message asking when to deliver them again. I left them a phone message and never heard from them again. So I don't know how nice their flowers are or not, but I know their delivery service is definitely lacking.

When I lost weight and my engagement ring and wedding rings were falling off, my husband and I went to the mall jeweler. My wedding band is actually a ring jacket and the mall jeweler couldn't assure me that they could size it without ruining the ring and referred me to Carlyle. They were fast and reasonable . Unfortunately, I'm not in the market for new jewelry, but I will definitely check them out. I have to think as an independent jeweler, they have some unique items as opposed to the cookie cutter stuff you get at the mall.
