Businiess name:  Lahey Clinic
Review by:  Tracy M.
Review content:
I had a terrible experience at Lahey emergency room several years ago. I had a cramp so bad I was completely bent over, unable to stand up, and had to take a taxi to the emergency room. The doctors there pulled at me, trying to force my body to stretch out, which it couldn't do. I was in worse and worse agony. Finally they said they didn't know what it was and couldn't do anything but kept calling in more doctors to physically handle me. But now I was in even worse pain as a result of their rough physical handling and couldn't even stand on my own. They then abruptly dismissed me but I was unable to get much past the outer doorway before collapsing outside, lying against the building for hours before I was able to get up. I was charged about $500 and my very expensive health insurance didn't cover it. I had been in pain when I went there, but the pain I was in as a result of their treatment was far worse. I would not go back.
