Review content:
No-one in my office knew the place...but I thought that it would still be worth a try and it was worth the visit. Dinner started with some red wine and an ample serving of bread and butter. The house salad was large, crisp and clean, with my dressing on the side, as I had asked. It was basically tomatoes, carrots and lettuce, but that did the job. We didn't have any appetizers, but probably should have. They looked delicious as they were being carried by. We had the veal or chicken debate and the veal won. Both the veal marsala (his) and veal parmesan (mine) were tender and delicious. The portions were just about the right size and came with a small bowl of Ziti in a red sauce. The service was impeccable and the ambiance was perfect. It isn't as fancy as many other north-end places, but it's old world style atmosphere makes up for it. Have the spumoni for dessert and roll yourself home.
