Review content:
I was surprised by Jasmine's review. I've known Dr. Eric Ako since 1992 when I worked at the Honolulu Zoo and he was a member of our Board of Directors. He can be abrupt at times because he is so dedicated to his patients, which is what I want in a vet. He has cared for my cats for 14 years. He just caught my Buster's hyper-thyroidism, thus saving his life, and Bus is responding well to treatment. As for not knowing an airdale from an airhead, one of his vet peers told me once that they are not particularly skilled at determining a specific breed as they are in what is going on in the health of the particular patient. I recommend Dr. Ako, The Pet Doctor, any time.\r Cheryl, March 5, 2008
