What's with the nit-picking? I've been with this gym for over a year and I have nothing but praise for it. The classes are fantastic (Arys classes are the BEST! And she is so nice!), the facilities spotless and in my experience the staff is nice! Yes its pricey, but I think its worth it since I put hygiene and interesting fitness classes on my priority list when it comes to selecting a gym. I strongly disagree with people claiming the staff has ""attitude"". Whatever! In my experience the staff has always been helpful, encouraging, polite and respectful. That goes a long way when youre self-conscious and feel out of place in a sea of hardbodies. I dont have a six-pack, I have a big old gut that Im trying to work off. I recommend Equinox to any person of size who is a bit sensitive. Pros: CLEAN!!!, Friendly staff, Great classes Cons: crowded at times, pricey, but worth it
