Last Friday evening, I went to this taco bell at 8:15pm. I never expected to find a gigantic line in a drive thru at 8:15pm. Not wanting to wait forever, I decided to go inside. There was no line inside, and I was immediately helped. I figured I would be in and out in five minutes without any hassle. I ordered with an woman who appeared to be a new hire. I had to have her correct my order several times before she submitted the order and I paid. Each time she made corrections, I had to wait for the manager to override the register. Even after paying, she still had gotten the order wrong still but I decided not to complain as she seemed to be having a hard time. After ordering, a large group of people came in and ordered. I stood and watched as every single person in this group got their food before me, and all I ordered was some tacos and an order of nachos. I wasn't sure what was taking so long. After over 10 minutes of waiting, the manager came up and asked what I was waiting for and I handed him my receipt. He immediately instructed a man in the kitchen to prepare my order immediately. The person he handed my receipt to went as if he was going to prepare my order, then threw the receipt away and went on break to socialize with his friends who came in to visit him. Several minutes later, the manager had me repeat my order to another woman, who also then went on break after I had to repeat my order for a third time. 20 minutes after initially ordering food, I finally asked for a refund. The manager apologized and asked me to repeat my order yet again so he could find the receipt in order to refund the money back to my credit card. Five minutes later, and he finally was getting approval to issue my refund. Even after 25 minutes, no one in the kitchen ever had completed my order even though I only had a few items. This surprised me as I had dictated the order to at least three people. When I finally got my refund, I fully expected to get a voucher for me to come back some other time, or encouragement that this would never happen again. Instead, as I was about to leave, the person behind me in line said ""I used to work here. This happens all the time."" Bottom line, if you want your order to be lost several times and to be treated like crap, feel free to go to this Taco Bell. Otherwise, I suggest you go to one of the several other restaurants in the same parking lot.
