Review content:
Our party of four began downstairs, when we met our rude waiter. He was dry, arrogant and seemingly bored. Three of us ordered artchokes and were told our table would only need two. We asked if we could order three anyway and our waiter said ""No, you will have two"". Next, we asked if we could start with a pizza as an appetizer (they make them upstairs). Again, the answer was ""No, you would have to go upstairs"". Then, he walked away, and and as we waited forever for our two artichokes, other tables started filling up and we noticed they were short staffed and we had become completely forgotten. We decided to go upstairs where we could have pizza and try to salvage our evening. Our experience there was better but it's just pizza. When we shared our experience downstairs with the freindly cashier, she chuckled and said ""Yeah, he's the owner."" We couldn't believe a restaurant would hire a waitperson like this but now it made sense! Wow, sometimes, it's best for an owner to remain behind the scenes and allow others to handle the personality of the front. I do not know who this dry toast guy thinks he is but he should not step foot in his restaurant...ever. The artichoke downstairs was ok, the pizza upstairs was also ok but our experience with the owner is the reason we have not - and probably will not return. Pros: If you live around the block, I imagine it might be a good place to take the kids for an ok pizza Cons: The rude owner, the 7-11 bright lighting upstairs, the loud cafeteria with screaming kids
