This is the first time I have ever been so disappointed in service that I felt compelled to write a review. My husband and I were visiting the city for the first time to celebrate our wedding anniversary. After exploring many dining options on the Riverwalk, we chose Italia. It had a nice upstairs balcony that overlooked the river. Unfortunately, our experience mimicks the prior review. We didn't receive our appitizer until 45 mins after beind seated. Our meal didn't arrive for another 30 mins after we finished the appetizer. I ordered tortillinil, and my husband ordered a salad with blue cheese dressing on the side. The dressing had the consistency of skim milk. How hard can this be? The most upsetting part of the experience was that the service was abysmal. We were offered no apologies, no remorse -- only an outrageous tab for some pasta and a salad.
Pros: nice location
Cons: poor service, over priced, poor management
