I went looking for Wedding dresses this past weekend for the first time. The first place I went treated me with Red Carpet Service. The second place I went was Gowns By Design. We made an appointment ahead of time and we were approximately 10-15 minutes early. Immediately we got an attitude from the older lady at the counter. She did show us around the store and explain where each designer was. They offered zero help hooking the strapless bra (not an easy thing to do by yourself). I put on the first dress and the lady walked out to get my other family members. My cousin got out her camera and started taking pictures for reference later as to which one i really liked. The lady stormed and and yelled at her and said ""no pictures allowed and that all dresses can be found online"". I understand it's policy, but if you can find it online...why can't you take pictures?. Anyway, I tried on several dresses after that point and I found one I really liked, then all of a sudden the lady walks out and doesn't give a reason why. Finally a manager walked to help us out. The lady came back and with an attitude, claimed her daughter was on the phone and she just wanted to talk with her. They do not give out style number so that you can reference the dress online. I possibly would have bought a dress there, but the service was so horrible...I would NEVER go back!
