My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here last night. We started with the fruit and cold cheese plate and the smoked salmon and trout plate. Both delicious. The cheese plate consisted of very high quality artisinal cheeses: goat, brie, bleu and perfectly ripe pears. The smoked salmon and trout came with finely diced red onion, horseradish sauce, capers, and crackers. The salmon and trout was fresh and delicious. We shared the lobster bisque which was OUT of this world - lots of lobster chunks, and the Pomme salad was heavenly. My entree was the coconut sauteed lobster tail and my husband had the filet - BOTH of which were cooked to perfection. The lobster tail was a surprising 12 ounces. Our sides were a potato au gratin, asparagus, and herb sauteed summer squash. Again, done to perfection. Expansive wine list. The host, bartender, and waitress were wonderful; attentive - we waited for nothing. This is a hidden gem of a place, cozy, very stately, and in a beautiful old building, tucked away in the lush country side of Center Valley. A place you truly need to visit and enjoy. Pros: Lovely atmosphere, delicious food, large portions Cons: nothing!
