I have gone to so many tailors in NY and by far, Maria is the best of the best. You will be amazed at her skill and knowledge, and for me, as a woman, at the way she puts you at ease. I was looking for someone who was as good as my Sicilian Grandmother, who was a world class dressmaker, and I was blessed to find Maria. She is a great tailor and a brilliant dressmaker. You will not be disappointed from the minute you meet her in her old fashioned, charming work studio, and you will hug her after you see the magic she performs. You should cal her before you go the first time, and don't be surprised by the apartment building type of set up (it is not a typical storefront setting). You will never be able to go to another tailor again after finding Maria, who is the real deal! I also just love Maria, who makes me feel like family.
