We've lived here for a few years and finally got around to trying Dinosaur. Yum!! We loved it and have been back a few times for more. The sauce is SO good. It is always packed when we have gone by, so we just ordered it to go, called it in and picked it up. It was ready when we got there, no waiting at all

They have hired Josh Bickham as their Executive Chef who will lend his talents and experience to the specials as they maintain their core competencies of the main menu. The opening is slated for early March 2007.

Everything they make is phenomenal - they have several varieties of Italian cookies, cookie cakes and pastry trays, wedding cakes and sweet tables. Rum cakes are our specialty. Fresh baked bread, cakes, and canolis. Place an order in advance - or walk into the bakery. You won't be disappointed!

I've been going there time and time again. I have also been getting to know the staff and have found them very friendly. This is a place you have to check out at least once to try a garbage plate. Its not extremely clean but not dirty. Plates cost $5 on special days when there is a fundraiser so ask the staff about possible upcoming fundraisers. Its a Rochester landmark. go. And go soon because they close at 8pm. Also they do not deliver and there is no need to order ahead for takeout. The place has lots of character.
Pros: The Infamous and Delicous authentic garbage plate
Cons: Closes at 8pm

After living in Houston, Tx for over 8 years I can honestly say that this is the best mexican cuisine my husband and I have ever tried. We went in at 3:30 pm on a Saturday. We had excellent service, attentive and prompt. Our drinks were refilled regularly. We came in with a party of 5 and everyone tried something different and everything was so flavorful. Kudos to the owners and chef! We highly recommend!!!
Pros: Flavor, service and amount of food served
Cons: Having to pay for extra chips & salsa

If you want to grab lunch and want it quick this is the place to go. They have super speedy service, excellent food and great prices. This is one of the few places in town you can sit down be waited on and manage to keep your lunch time to 30 minutes,

I recently went to Pomodoro's with my friends. We had a great time. The atmosphere is fantastic. The band The Special Blend is one of the best that I have heard. I am moving to Rochester from Baltimore and will continue to enjoy the music and food.I hope the band keeps playing. I am looking forward to hearing them again in Feb.

I think Gallo's Pizza is the best place in town! They have a great menu which goes beyond pizza and wings. I recently had them cater a gathering at my house. The food was delicious. The best chicken french and greens & beans. All of my guests raved about the food which was done to perfection. There service was on time and polite. Everything I needed to have a great party. If you want great food and great friendly service go to Gallo's!!!
