I came down from NYC this weekend and needed a place to stay. It is a small place that really will go out of their way to take care of you . The manager got up extra early to make my crew coffee at 4 am even though they really start serving at 7 am. Good location and Dons Original (great hot dogs) is a walk away.
Pros: Wifi, breakfast, location

We put a few of our contractors in this hotel when needed. It was convenient to the job site they were working at and was very very cheap. We would negotiate weekly rates and the hotel management was always very flexible with our guys. One of our contractors stayed there for 4 years while on a long term job. This hotel is not at all luxory. I would hesitate to take my family there, it does has a "flea bag" motel reputation. Again if you just need some where cheap to stay,, this is your place!

This hotel is conveniently located in Henrietta. It is close to the mall and much of the south sides shopping in Rochester. However it is a little bit seedy. The hotel is located next to a strip club and looks run down from the outside. They do however offer great rates.

I've been an intermittent member at the Carlson YMCA over the past few years, and have always enjoyed using their facilities. They offer a number of exercise classes each week including yoga, swimming, kickboxing, step aerobics, spinning, toning and more. (The spinning classes are particularly intense.) The cardio area has treadmills, steppers, exercise bikes,ellipticals, a couple of rowing machines and a nautilus. It gets crowded around 5:00-7:00pm on weekdays, but otherwise there is generally no problem getting a machine right away. The adjacent "Lifecycle" weight training area is good for beginners, but won't impress the serious weight lifter. The membership is very diverse but generally co-operative and friendly as are the staffers.
