Firstly, this is place not a regular 'hotel'. This is a beautiful, peaceful 2-storey place set right next to the Canyon Lake. The owner of the property lives in the same place and she and her family are wonderful people. Every evening she gets deer food and we can see about 50 deers or so and feed them right from our hands!!! Parking is available, there is a deck where there chairs to lounge on (and see the lake). This is a great place for honeymoon-ers and for people with children. The rooms are comfortably furnished and they have a personal touch with little decoration pieces. Pros: Beautiful, peaceful place, can feed deers out of your hands, friendly hostess Cons: You need to travel a bit to get food or to get to other cities, get to the lodge before dusk the first time
