I'm a fairly frequent patron of the Louisiana, and while I will often go for the Tex-Mex and take most of it home with me (the portions are *huge*) I sometimes scale back to the great bowl of oatmeal with brown sugar and sourdough toast. The coffee is good, and service people are great. While the monster-sized signature dishes are a little spendy, they're pretty good if you realize you're getting at least two meals out of it. I've often done a split-plate on the cajun breakfast and still had left overs.
Pros: Great food, very large portions
Cons: Sometimes a little hard to get a table at peak weekend hours
