This place is great, especially as I'm getting back into tennis. The have a great selection and very knowledgeable employees. Buying a tennis racquet from someone that plays makes it a much better experience. Also, the services they offer show that the owner cares about having you as a customer and making sure your experience is an ACE. They allow you to demo racquets (try them out before you buy for a small fee, the fee can subsequently be applied to a racquet purchase when you select one. Also, I've gotten my racquet stringed elsewhere it has not been as good. Small store but lots a great stuff inside.

Many of the exhibits that come through the gallery have a more modern look to them. The gallery has a nice layout that allows for a leisurely stroll through its rooms. An added bonus for the gallery is that it is free on Friday’s and typically there is something else going on, either a concert, a poetry reading or lecture. If you are into art this is a relaxing place to spend an afternoon.

This place is allright, the balls are real cheap and the place doesn't look so nice. Hey, but it serves its purpose. They have a lot of coupons in different media (phone book etc.) for buy one get one free buckets of balls. The buckets here are larger than elsewhere, but it definitely is no frills, and the pro shop is fairly small.

More
The Buffalo and Erie County Historical Society is located about 20 minutes outside of West Seneca, NY. This Historical Society has some extremely interesting areas. They are loacted on Nottingham Terrace just off of Elmwood Avenue in Buffalo, NY. They have a wonderful Pan Am Exposition display in the building. The exhibit, a reinstallation that includes the materials housed in the Pan-Am Building during the Centennial, transforms this 100+ year old trolley barn into a Pan-Am Exposition hall. The combined exhibit features “the Little Building,” a rediscovered structure from the Pan-Am grounds, plus artifacts and hands-on displays that explore the exposition’s funny and serious sides. Their collections include Erie Canal:
Commemorative plates, medals, ribbons, Canvas White's canal boat model. Lives of threePresidents:
Millard Fillmore's Union Continentals silver uniform buttons, and his charcoal sketch by George Healy, Grover Cleveland's wedding cakebox, William McKinley's cigars, and the revolver used by Leon Czolgosz in McKinley's assassination. ndustrialization: Bethlehem Steel patterns, steelworker tools and protective gear, Trico windshield wipers, Pierce Motorette, aircraft engines, and hundreds of other local products; artifacts associated with union labor, such as badges, ribbons, and a union musician's cap from Local 533, American Federation of Musicians, The Colored Musicians Local. Immigrants:
Personal tools, gear, and household effects from many of the region's diverse ethnic and cultural groups. Aviation and the War Effort:
Uniforms, equipment, weapons, Elias Brothers artifacts, and Bell and Curtiss Wright artifacts, including one of the oldest surviving Bell helicopters. Textiles:
The largest collection in Western New York, featuring quilts, samplers, lace, and clothing. Paintings:
Approximately 500 works documenting two centuries of the region's changing landscape, and the men and women who helped shape the area's history; nationally recognized artists including William H. Beard, Raphael Beck, Alvah Bradish, Thomas LeClear, Augustus Rockwell, Lars G. Sellstedt, and William Wilgus; John Mix Stanley's Trial of Red Jacket; and works by Joseph Josephs, a 19th century "colorful" sign painter and booster of both Buffalo and the early Republican party.
Glass and Ceramics:
Collected by private individuals reflecting technological developments and taste in the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries

This place has a lot of nice stuff, I just stopped in quickly and didn't get a great impression of price but I really enjoyed the pieces they had there. A lot of interesting furniture (modern chairs and tables) also quite a few discussion and accent pieces. It's in a great row of stores on elmwood and it is enjoyable just to go in and out of a few there. If you are looking for something that will stick out to decorate your place or for a friend this might be just the store/gallery you need.

This sports store has everything you can think of when it comes to any type of sporting gear and sporting equipment. It has to be the biggest sporting store I have ever been into. Everything from skiing to fishing, camping, boating you name it.
Including gear to wear. They do sell fishing & gaming licenses as well. Some of the clothing is really expensive. I don't like the fact they only have one location and I really don't desire the location itself. The Galleria is very dangerous as far as theft and other things. Parking is always bad so you have to park far away and at night it is unsafe. It's better to go there during the day time hours. I always try to watch for sales and coupons in the paper especially when I am looking for something inparticular. But if you can't find what you are looking for at a particular sporting goods store you would surely find it here.

I bought a piece of jewelry from this place that was costume jewelry. Yeah it gave my neck a rash but it was pretty heavy for a piece of costume jewelry. I'm also impressed that a company that has been reported to have sales of over $1 million per year would sell this type of stuff, but they're really on top of things there, suiting every type of customer.

This is a great place for any local ports fan. This Christmas I went here to get my Dad a gift. He is a big Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres fan. They have a ton of great items for any long time fan of those teams. I was able to get my dad an autographed Jim Kelly football for a decent price.

My grandparents live near this bowling alley in Blasdell. This place has a small town feel. I come here about once a year when some family members get together for family outings. The lanes are decent but the place is pretty small. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here but it does the job.
