Wow, we love this place -- our neighborhood bar of choice -- and so do all the friends we've brought here. They have a geniunely fun, friendly staff, very attentive, good table service. Menu is excellent, something for everyone. We've never had a bad dish here, from fish & chips to the salads & pasta. If something's not right, tell them, they fix it cheerfully. They throw great themed parties. The karaoke on Thurs. nites is actually kinda classy... great sound, and some of the regulars got some pipes for real! Good mix of ages in the crowd. Again, something here for everyone; sports, digital games, pool, juke box. The owner greets people he recognizes. Seems like a humble guy who works hard and is proud of his bar. Three years old this place, and I say luck's got nothing to do with it. Here's to many more, Firkin! Pros: The kitchen, the staff, the games, the parties Cons: Some parking spaces are a little narrow, but big deal.
