Review content:
I cannot say enough nice things about this studio. I generally dislike group exercise classes, but bikram is different. They emphasize collective energy that both mentally and physically rejuvinates everyone in the room. The class is totally non-judgmental. It is about working as hard as possible physically and reaping both the physical and mental benefits thereof. Sure, this will change your body. I lost two inches off my chest in two weeks. But more importantly, it will change your mind and the way you see yourself and the rest of the world. I love how completely non-judgmental this place is. It's not about making people feel inferior if their bodies aren't perfect--it's just about accepting others (and yourself) for who they are and respecting the hard work that they're doing in their own practice. Oh--and of course it smells a bit despite the fact that they clean the carpets regularly. You're in a closed off, heated, humid room with thirty other people who are all dripping sweat. This is not a workout for people who don't want to sweat (a lot) or have their makeup melt off/hair get messed up. Pros: great staff, great mental and physical workout Cons: none
