I came into Startronics by chance for Tints and a Wheel Repair. Eddie (the owner) was very personable and we spoke about how each type of tint works for your car. He was very enthusiastic about how good of a job he will do and he came through. He is an honest guy which is rare to come across in this business. I showed him my scratched rim and he didnt say he can fix it just to get another sale he did some research and is still checking to see if it is possible to fix, if he feels he cant do it or at least cant do it right he wont do it, he wont hustle you! I respect that a lot and was very happy with my tints. I hope he can do the wheel to because I know he will treat it with LOVE! Great place go there!
Pros: They can do almost anything you need for your car
Cons: Expensive, but good work charges more

I just got aa Audi A5 from my parents and I was immediately looking around to trick it out. As I walked into the store I asked for the prices for a window tint, ipod adapter to play through my car sound system, and 19" black and chrome lip Giovanni rims. The price he gave me shocked me for how reasonable it was. He installed everything same day with quality. NO bubbles in the window tint and clean cuts on the window edges, and the car looks GREAT. Thank You Freddy, and I recommend strongly to go to Santa Monica Car sound trust me and don't waste you time and money going around L.A.

My Kondo Motors experience was Fabulous...Chris, Wilfredo and Mr. Kondo are truely kind, friendly, very experienced gentlemen. I purchased a used car 60, 000 miles that was a lemon. It was advertised
as a great buy that was running great. Well, it did not run great, the coolant system, breaks, motor mounts
and all the parts sorrounding the engine needed replacing costing me 2100.00.
They made me feel very welcome and explained the repairs in detail showing me photos and the actual
parts that were worn and replaced. Chris is so calm and very, very nice, I've never met a mechanic with
his calmness. I strongly recommend taking your car for any repair, being a female it is the FIRST
repair shop that did not try to cheat me.
Pros: Excellent price, parking available, Fantastic Service

Excellent Service from beginning to end. Very friendly from the moment I got a quote to driving away. Easy- called & got in right away. Fast- my car was done in 1.5 hour- just as promised. Professional- my car looked gorgeous when I got it. I will definitley tell my friends, family and co-workers. Nick was willing to go above & beyond.

They could have said that my problem was worse than it was. But, they were honest and helpful. They didn't try and gouge me for more money which is appreciated in these trying times. If you are thinking of using them, I would highly recommend them. I have a Mercedes Benz which can be expensive at the dealer, Here they tried to keep the costs down for me, which i really appreciated. Thanks, Dusaw.

The most pleasant experience I had since I own a BMW.
My car was due to service so I took it to SMBMW and I was amazed by the courtesy and professionalism with which I was treated.
My service advisor Matthias (call him the Austrian) took care of me and my car, that gave me the feeling I belong to his family. He explained to me in a manner so I could actually understand what was wrong with my BMW and what needs to be fixed. He was efficient and courteous in a way that made a miserable morning, into a pleasant experience. This guy is something else!!! When it comes to cars and understanding that you don't have the best time when you have to take your beamer to the garage.
My car was finished right on time, as promised and clean. I got walked to the cashier by the ??????Austrian?????? and I felt really comfortable to be in the presence of this gentleman. This is a total different SMBMW as experienced in previous visits.
If you ever have to go to a BMW dealership I can only recommend to visit SMBMW and make sure you ask for Matthias or the ??????Austrian?????? when you make your appointment. You will be amazed I can assure you.
Just as I was leaving I remembered I want to pair my Bluetooth Mobil with my beamer, which is not always the easiest procedure, Matthias observed that I was somehow struggling so he came out to the sidewalk asked if I needed some assistance and did the whole procedure for me at no cost plus he explained to me how to do this so that I am now able to do it myself should I ever have to. As I offered him a tip he declined and said this is all part of the service and there is no need for that, a thank you is more than enough.
Go there ask for Matthias and your day will be this little bit brighter.

I took my firm's '99 toyota to Stokes (I had used them a couple times for tire needs and found them to be straight with me) that had been regularly serviced by the nearby Toyota Dealership. I had a myriad of unexplained problems--just two weeks after having it at the dealership. Stokes identified a series of issues and then ranked them in order of safety importance (there were many issues!) and then cost. They made it easy for me to decide what to fix now and what to delay until the next service date. In the world of car repair, it's difficult to find true honesty of what is wrong, how to fix it and even when not to fix something. Jack, the service manager, is fantastic to work with. I will no longer take any of my vehicles anywhere else. Yes, Stokes is THAT good.
