My Husband took me to Carson Ridge as a surprise getaway for 4 days for us to reconnect after some hardships at home. We arrived at Carson Ridge and my first thought as we drove on the property is that it was like a well manicured park in the middle of the Gorge. We then seen the lodge, all warm and cozy with comfy couches and shelves of books. We were then welcomed by the owners themselves who did everything to make us feel at home. Just these first impressions started to take so much weight of the last year of stress off my chest.
What really impressed me is our cabin. We walked in at it was so beautiful, complete with a bouquet of roses and champagne waiting for us.
My husband arranged for us to have private yoga classes every morning before breakfast - HEAVEN - as well as a couples massage infront of our fireplace. With the natural beauty and all the hikes of the Columbia RIver Gorge, the beautiful grounds, our wonderful cabin with the extraordinary view, combined with the yoga and massage. We both feel like completely new people, I am ready to take on the world again!
