update their decor! This eatery is drab beyond belief! Although the food is good, and the service is very slow, the "ambience" of down-home cooking lends itself to a repeat visit. Always a very busy establishment, Thisilldous tends to attract more locals than outsiders, which presents itself to that feeling of everyone knowing each other by name. The waitresses memorize you, and your order, if you visit often enough. Getting back to the decor, the 1970's wood paneling is in serious need of being replaced, the floors are old linoleum, and it could use some expansion to accomodate the crowds. The other downside is that smoking is allowed here, and their ventilation system is non-existent. In such a small place, this problem will find you gasping for air, and you cannot taste your food. Overall, if the food wasn't very good, there would not be a good enough reason to visit more than once.
