OMG, I bought a bed from Mattress Gallery on the phone. I live in West Hollywood, and visit the store and decided to buy the bed when I got home. I called in WeHo Store, and they didn't have the bed/size I want, I called another one at another location, they told me all their inventory comes from 1 warehouse, so if I wanted it over in 2 days, I have to pick another size, so I did. Turned out the guarantee they offer is SO hard to do when you need it. First you have to pay extra$99, I said I won't unwrap the plastic so why would I need to pay. The bed with mattress pad is so much shorter in store than the one I got. I had to jump to get onto the bed. I called the store for an exchange, they told me NO. I called headquarters of Mattress Gallery, they told me it's up to the regional sales manager to decide and told me repeated that it's not his job to help me on this (4 times!!). Of course, he's not going to exchange, he sold it to me. This Chain stores is very weird, keep in mind they are not like Target. Their HQ has no control over the local stores, so don't expect service, QA and professional from a Large Franchise. After I was about to give up and write a complaint to Better Bus, they called me back and said the Customer service manager said I could do an exchange. Except I don't get any credit back even though there's a $200 difference, and I had to pay for delivery again! Oh, the credit does not go towards the delivery, mind you. What happened? After 1 month of this, they delivered the wrong bed, becaused instead of using a computer to deliver data, they write and fax. Come into the 2006 technology era, please!! So, to sum up, I didn't get the bed I wanted until 6 weeks later. So I had to sleep on a sleeping bag for 6 weeks. After this experience, I recommed everyone to avoid this store and go to Ikea or Costco. Their beds are better/cheaper, and better customer serivce. Pros: can deliver in 2 days $50 Cons: everything else
